I ordered the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sandwich for the 2nd time this week. Homemade English Muffins, real pork sausage (not the frozen kind), egg and lots of cheese. Definitely worth it! Next time I will try the ham or bacon sandwich. Thanks to Devin and Erin for a great breakfast place to eat.
I had an apricot danish that rivaled any pastry I’ve ever had! Everything here is great and it’s nice to have a friendly face behind the counter.
The donuts were amazing! I had the Maple Bacon donut. If you love sweet & salty, I highly recommend trying the Maple Bacon donut. The serves was quick & friendly. As for the atmosphere, this is a beautiful & quite family owned donut shop. I loved the brightness, colors, & plants decorating the place.

The donuts, both cake and yeast, are delicious. But I do find the cake donut to be a tad bit too dense, but that is just a preference; it does not necessarily mean that they do it wrong. I like the amount of chocolate icing they put on their yeast donuts. Not too much, not too little. I have also had their cream cheese Danish, which I thought was very well done. I have not eaten one of their breakfast sandwiches, so I can't comment on those.
Just a warning if this kind of thing bothers you: their point of sale machine asks for a tip. You might not feel that taking a donut out of the case and putting it in a bag is worth tipping. If you don't want to be put on the spot and feel uncomfortable about tapping "No Tip," just be warned.

I'm glad they didn't try to keep the name quality bakery after overtaking. It's hard to leave one displeased from a typical chocolate covered sprinkled doughnut. From a visual aspect it was lacking uniform shape. It was more egg shaped than round being considerably wider on one side, it also appeared flat rather than airy. The dough itself was less than sweet, chewy, and left a taste of burnt frier oil in my mouth. The chocolate topping was also off, it was more of a bitter tasting chocolate. Sprinkles were typical powdery texture when crushed providing the most of the sweet flavor.

Donuts have become just another manufactured product at most places, but not at The Robin’s Egg. Old-school, handcrafted and incredibly delicious donuts! So excited to have them close by. When my kiddos ask what donuts are supposed to taste like, I don’t have to reminisce about my childhood but can proudly take them to The Robin’s Egg and show them in-person.
This is an adorable vintage bakery with absolutely delicious donuts and pastries — so tasty and not overly sweet!
Love it, they know what they're doing. Excellent crumb, good chew, nice color. You don't have to ration filling as you eat because the bread part of the doughnut is so satisfying. Don't buy doughnuts from gas stations, buy them from bakeries - you don't go to a mechanic for legal advice, or a birthday clown for dental work - if you want a good doughnut, go to a baker.

If you miss the old quality bakery that used to be here, then don't get too excited yet. At this time, they have a very small selection of donuts to choose from while they get a feel for the area. There is a small amount of seating available for those who would like the option to sit in and eat their donut, but the other side has been completely crossed off as of now. As of this time, it's not much, but over time, from what I hear, this place can and will become something amazing, kind of like a quality bakery 2.0.
Parking: Its northfield Street parking so there can be space available or there may not be.
