I adore this restaurant! They give delicious meals, their menu is decent, The cook in that place is very trained, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The food is always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the customers is efficient. I visit often this place and I was never disappointed. I highly recommend it.
The Tavern is a nice place to take family and out of town guests. Great food, great prices, great atmosphere. Highly recommend
Was some news awhile ago about reopening either November or December......still waiting! Truly miss that great establishment.....aiways a favorite!
Great food at a little expensive but not to bad of a price. Have gone there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great hot coco, there cheese plate appetizer, is the best I have seen. The french toast is better then most places. The bovine dunker is the best I have had in my lifetime. Depeding on the time of day and date in can take some time or be quick for setting and ordering. Bathroom can be hard to find for new people.
Tasty roast beef sandwich with onions and cheese. Friendly staff in a cute town.
The place burned up a while back and is not back in business. It served pub fare and was quite excellent.
The Tavern of Northfield is now closed for business due to a fire on the floor above them. I have heard that there are no plans to reopen the restaurant or the bar on the main floor.
We used to go there weekly, before the fire. We used to just love the Sunday chicken lunch special, then they stopped that. i hope they will bring back that special when they reopen....
Cute little spot, enjoyed our eggs benedicts, would love to come back for a caramel roll!

Great food for the price (the portion sizes are definitely substantial), and a decent selection of beers. It's a nice place to go for a drink with friends or take your family for dinner.
Pleasant and delicious as usual. Always an excellent choice, wonderful menu at very decent prices! Truly a gem.
