“Our daughter used Rockwoods for the venue for her wedding on 10/4/2025 and let me tell you that place did not disappoint. From the friendly staff to the great service to the awesome food to the great bartenders slinging drinks it all was well worth it. We served either chicken Kiev or beef brisket and both were out of this world very very good and tasty. I can’t thank the cooks enough for their excellent and delicious tasting food they prepared for us.While serving the sit down dinner,their staff did an excellent job serving 280 people in a quick and professional manner. Can’t say enough about how friendly each and everyone of their staff was. Thank you Thank you Rockwoods for your professionalism you showed on our daughters special day. I would most definitely recommend this outstanding restaurant for either a wedding reception or special event. Thank you so much Rockwoods!“

“Wonderful little room with fireplace to celebrate my son’s birthday! Food and drinks, and beer was great! We had a burger, chicken sandwich, pizza, and garlic bread from the appetizer menu. At the end, our waitress brought us a brownie and ice cream dessert for my son’s birthday! OMG!! Everything was delicious and it was a great experience! We will be back…., worth the 1/2 hour drive!“

“We have been going here, for the last few years, on 4th of July. It has become a tradition for our family and tonight was THE best experience yet. Not only was the beer delicious- there is something for everyone!- but everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. We have two little girls (6 and 2) and they enjoyed themselves as well. It was an amazing family friendly evening! New friends were made, by adults AND kiddos, beers were had, fireworks ooed and aahed at, and it truly reminded us why we LOVE Aegir. “I love this place! I usually try to make it to every fish fry in the spring. They also have a good taco night. I like going here to connect with my neighbors. Most of all, I like to support our veterans, that's what this place is all about.“

“We love Sammy’s pizza over most others. The atmosphere here is sports bar type and is roomy with plenty of seating. Weird access to the parking lot but if you are familiar with it it’s no big deal. The prices are about the same as most places of the same food types, My wife and I ordered the Sammy’s Italian deluxe allegedly with pepperoni and salami, Thinking a peanut butter sandwich has more meat. Was really disappointed in the 15.00 sandwich.The fries were excellent however, the right size and fried perfectly. Our wait staff were fantastic. Next time I will stick to my regular order - pizza.“
