“My wife's parents have a cabin near Miltona on Lake Irene and her sister recommended this place across from Thousand Lakes Brewing Company. I ordered a Chicago dog and a side salad. There were a lot of people waiting for their great ice cream, so it took a good five minutes to get our food and the lady at the order booth said they only had ranch dressing for the side salad. "Ohhh-kaaay" I brought the dog and salad over to Thousand Lakes and besides no noticeable celery salt and pickle slices instead of spears, for small town Minnesota, it was a pretty solid Chicago dog. The dog was snappy and full of flavor and the bun was steamed and of course no ketchup. The side salad had fresh lettuce and was very nice. I would have liked a little more dressing options, but maybe the order taker didn't know them all? I think it was about 7 or 8 bucks total for a great dinner to have a couple of craft brews across the street with. Awesome little family ice cream/diner spot and the soft serve ice cream looked really good because they added like 30 different flavors somehow to the vanilla serve. Kind of like the old time slushees you would get at little league baseball games, but with soft serve. Cool loittle Minnesota small town restaurant.“
