For the 2nd time in a row, the Norway simply cannot deliver warm food. We were there last evening (party of 8) and I had the evening’s special of Corned Beef. It arrived, I cut a slice, and it was colder than room temp. While 1/2 of the dishes served at the table were reported OK, 2 other dinners were cold. I called the server back, and returned it. 10 minutes later, THE SAME plate came back (with my missing slice) still cold. I called the server back, and she took it away and 20 minutes later a new one arrived. COLD. I informed the server that I would not be eating dinner there that evening. Management never came over to check on us. On receiving our bill, my dinner was removed. At the cashier, I asked to talk to someone in management. I was presented to the owner, who said ‘sorry’ and that I should be OK because my meal was comp’ed. I reminded her that is was not comp’ed, as I did not have dinner. She just stared at me. Second time in a row I’ve had cold food here. On the up-side, we had a blast in the bar before dinner. Still, unlikely to ever return.

We had reservations at 6, shows up 10 minutes early and were seated right away. Service was good. I believe they run short handed like most restaurants. I had the Filet and my wife had the salmon both were great. My wife and I visited a second time, a year apart the night before the Super Bowl. I really wanted to give a great review for our second visit but unfortunately that is not the case this time. We were seated write away, took about 15 minutes for a staff member to come to our table. We arrived at 550pm, at 710 pm is when we were served our meal. The restaurant was busy but there were still open tables. My wife had the walleye and her meal was fine. I had the shrimp scampi and Au Gratin potatoes. My shrimp was way overcooked (for the 5 shrimp you get) and warm. My potatoes were cool to slightly warm. Also they had 4 different servers in our section, I believe this is why we never seen our server being we were the only ones he served in this section. I think it would have made more sense to optimize there servers into sections. Just my opinion, but the 2 ladies I seen working the section were always there. All in all I still would go back, I just wish the food would have been hot after all the time we waited.

Ordered the Walleye dinner and the sour dough onion rings and I’ve never been more disappointed in a restaurant in my life. Onion rings were hands down the worst I’ve ever had, tasted like nothing. Fast food onion rings are better. The walleye dinner (pan fried) was also very bland and plain. I’ve heard the hype from this place for years and finally decided to spend some money to try it out and after wasting $90 I’m never going back.

Our first time here and it was very good from ambience, to service, to food! The pretzel rolls with cinnamon butter were FANTASTIC and a nice twist on plan bread and butter! Also the caper ranch dressing was a wonderful iteration along with the tops they give you to add to your salad! Husband said the duck was delicious and the fried peels were great with the creamy Parmesan dipping sauce but I would say the au gratin potatoes were the I've had! Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

I travel a lot so I eat out a lot the food is fantastic we had the sourdough appetizer combination my wife had smoked chicken and ribs I had the walleye and steak it is literally the best restaurant food I have ever had the servers were very attentive will definitely be going back

I'm sorry to have to share my unpleasant experience at Norway Ridge Friday Dec 1st. The Blackened Walleye was served raw and the scallops presented undercooked without caramelized finish and missing the buttery sauce upon its return from the kitchen, concerning. It's disappointing that the compensation only included a cup of soup, and the owner's response added to our dissatisfaction, he laughed at me from the bar as I left. He didn’t realize the rest of my party had departed the restaurant was watching us from a window.Feedback is valuable for potential customers, and it's unfortunate that i can no longer recommend the restaurant.

I absolutely love this place! I loved the atmosphere and the decor and the waitstaff was the best ever. Our server gave us a few suggestions and I'm so grateful she did. The food was phenomenal omg.. We had the an appetizer that was simply amazing and I had a combination dinner with smoked chicken and ribs. My husband had the steak and walleye dinner. I can't say enough about this place, we went home so full and so content the whole meal was absolutely amazing. I'm diffently going to go back. The food was on the high range but so worth it! Give it a try you won't regret it
