I’m glad I got the fried chicken. There’s a reason it’s the Saturday Special. Crispy and moist. Super tasty. I also enjoyed the rice pilaf and sautéed mushrooms. My husband said the pike sandwich was tasty and my daughter ate every bite of her cheeseburger and fries. Also reviews are correctl on the size of the wine pour, but they forgot to mention they have a decent wine list with Chateau St. Michelle and Oyster Bay among others. Arguably the best dive bar in the Midwest. For me, Old Milwaukee takes the #1 spot. If this is the type of venue you're looking to hang out at there is nothing more to be desired. Good lighting, old school charm, good food and great service.
