I made the much needed quick u turn. Catchy sign suggesting to make the u turn in. Glad we did. Loved the friendly staff. I had the octoberfest that was quite refreshing. Not the most bodied beer but easy to drink. I'd stop again!

Yea, this place is awesome. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Fun to talk to about beer. Glad I finally had time to stop after driving by so many times. Very cool place.

Stopped by on the way down from the cities. The sour had an amazingly dynamic taste. The aesthetic is really cool. They have outdoor area plenty of spots to sit. Bean bags, and tons of games inside as well. Service was most excellent!

South x SouthEast Brewing Company is a great little (not so little) stop on your SE Minnesota beer tour. On my stop they had 10 of their beers on as well as several shandy options. Beers were a Hazy IPA, a West coast IPA (that wasn't too hoppy), a Blonde, Amber, Cream Ale, Ginger beer, wheat Ale, a very tasty stout, Mexican lager, and a Miabock. The tap room is in an old cheese house with a very nice cabin feel. There is tons of out door space and they encourage you to walk the property. The staff and owner/Brewer were all super super nice. We talked a lot about beer (and they kept offering me free hot dogs.) The beers were not all my typical styles but all good, it's a brewery I hope to get back too.
I have been here somewhere around maybe eight or nine times in the two years they've been open. I feel this is such an underrated brewery, which baffles me because you can see it from 52...so WHY wouldn't you pop in?! EVERY time I have been in SxSE HITS the MARK!!! Good beer poured by friendly staff. Of all the beers I've had, none have been bad....none!! Today was the second time I asked a lovely brunette, aren't you the owner? "yes, I'm Ann." As we discussed the beers and I told her I met her brewer. She informed me "he's my son". The digs are spacious and comfortable. Parking is plenty and easy. I love that there's a poster hanging of ideas of different raddlers you can make! I honestly can't think of one area that needs improvement for this brewery!! THANKS South By Southeast for yet another, as per usual: delicious, fun and laughter filled visit!! Despite living in the cities, I am already looking forward to my next visit!! Cheers!

Charming little spot right off the highway. Their Lazy Days IPA is delicious and refreshing on this beautiful fall day. A playground, games, and plenty of tables welcomes both families and others to this peaceful spot. Will return!

This place has a great selection of beers that all tasted great. They also have options where you can mix the beer with pop or with each other. There is also a lot more seats in the inside than you'd think from the outside. There is a lot of outdoor seating too.Only wish it was easier to stop by north bound, the next exit ramp to go back north is a bit far.
