My wife and I passed through here on a whim on our way back to the Twin Cities after spending the day in Rochester. The restaurants in Rochester were too busy with long lines, so we opted to look outside the city and found Los Reyes in Pine Island as a result.

I'm glad we did, because we were treated to a delicious, authentic-tasting Mexican meal. This no-frills, small family operation is a hole in the wall worth exploring. My wife got the chicken enchilada -- a monster wrapped in a fried tortilla. And I got the gorditas poblanas on the recommendation of others who have reviewed here. After sampling each other's, we wound up swapping dishes because we liked what the other got so much!

As this place grows, I'm sure the service will become a little snappier and the atmosphere will fill out a little more. What should never change is the food. Nor the people! They were all very kind and lovely.

“I have gone to Crisp & Green three days in a row and it is incredible. I tried the Buffalo Salad, the S'more Acai Bowl, and the Fiesta Bowl. The manager there is amazing. The staff is friendly and quick. The price is on par with what items like these cost in the market. I downloaded their app and are participating in their reward program. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new, delicious, and healthy option in the Rochester area.”

“Bought beer here before but today there was a lady at the counter who denied my real ND I.D (Drivers License). It is ridiculous because I'm 30 years old! Anyways, I went back with my passport and it was all good. Seems like a place I'd stop in for a couple after work, and bring my passport with me I guess 🤣”

“We went for our one year anniversary. There were some ups and downs. One I would recommend the onion ring. Very fresh, large portion and homemade ranch was great. I would NOT recommend the seafood melt. It had those to tiny shrimp with veins still and just very fishy old taste. We both got the ribeye both cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. I got the augratin potato’s which are just cheesy hash browns Al little salty but still really good. The chopped salad was very minimal I’d get the soup next time. And a side of broiled shrimp. Wouldn’t get those again very rubbery and no flavor. My partner got the fries which he loved and the Cesar salad which he didn’t not. Over all the important part of the meal was really great. Could use a few changes but we would come back another time!”
