“The entire crew that was working on the evening of Tuesday, October 3, 2023 deserve many praises. This was simply amazing service at its best. As we were driving down Route 52 trying to make it to Culvers before closing, I called and asked if we could get the full menu if we came in minutes before closing. Whoever answered the phone was so positive and warm and assured us that we could indeed! Literally, we walked in at 9:58 p.m. They were scheduled to close in two minutes. However, the entire crew greeted us with warmth and smiles. We had fish, cheese curds, fries, etc. Everything was fresh and delicious. At 10:20 (20 minutes past closing time), a worker came by our table to see if we needed anything else. We were not pressured at anytime to leave. Unbelievable! We just know we would not experience such special service anywhere but Culver's in Rochester, MN! This team should be so proud. What a delightful place.”

“Hands down my favorite birria tacos in the area. Never had a bad meal yet and I’ve tried a variety of different dishes. Love the way they prepare the refied beans. My only complaint is that the lighting is too bright and white at the new locations. Feels a bit like I’m eating at a supermarket. There's no speaker at the menu so you have to remember what you want when you go up to the window to order, maybe they could have some paper menus available if you're not quite sure or a screen? “What a treat! In a picturesque stone building immediately across the street from the famous Hubbell House, the Mantorville Saloon is a relaxed, laid—back bar with typical bar food to order. The walls are covered with pictures of local events and history, including a picture of an elegant stone building that used to be about a block away, which had most recently been a plumbing store. There is a very nice tent in the back for people who prefer to eat in the open air. Indoors is very nice, with ample room for social distancing. Ambiance might be typical of a century’s old bar, now with colored lights and televisions for those who want to follow the sports. For Viking’s games, there is a large roll-down screen to give everyone an excellent view.”

Today was my first time trying the lunch buffet and I was very impressed with how clean the environment was, & how often they were replacing items on the buffet. Great variety of dishes also.And the price was great too! $11.84 after tax. Cheapest buffet I’ve had in a long time. Anyways, if you haven’t tried this place I highly recommend you do! Won’t be disappointed!Wheelchair accessibility: Someone in a wheel chair would have no problem navigating this space. Tables are a good distance apart with a clear aisle.”

“Excellent food. Our first time here but we will become regulars I’m guessing! Jim loves curry and his dish was the best he’s ever had. I ordered the egg street noodles and we shared. Plenty leftover for another meal. The basmati rice was so fluffy and perfect as was the garlic naan bread. Delicious!”

It was decided that we were going out to eat one night.. they had been to newts before and wanted to take us there... it couldn't have been a better decision.. things started off slow.. after having trouble finding a parking spot, we had to wait for a place to sit.. they were very busy.. once seated we had some great popcorn to munch on.. our orders were taken and the wait time for food was quite short.. the six of us all had something a bit different then the others.. food was all very good and overall the service was great. If we ever get back into the area we'll be sure to stop by for burgers again..”

He was very friendly, efficient, good eye on what we needed like refills and extra things before we even had to ask. He checked in multiple times with perfect timing. My sister and I are both servers ourselves, this was an A+++ experience!The food was Amazing! and even the other staff was very friendly coming and going. I wish I would have caught our servers name..We were in the section in a booth by the minnesota golfers rochester flag, and tattoo sleeve arm photo,Corner booth by the stairs, our server wore a cowboy hat, on April 7th around 7pm.Thankyou SO much for the great experience!!”

“My favorite Chinese food! We regularly pick up beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, house lo mein (add beef), and egg rolls. I recommend all of these items! Best egg rolls ever...large, great flavor and delightfully greasy! Cash or check only. Some days they are unexpectedly closed.... understandable when it's family owned and operated, but it's tough when I'm craving their food.”

We had the beast & a tuna sandwich they were both toasted correctly so the bread wasn't dried out when you bit into it. Made sure you got everything you wanted on your sandwich. They had a variety of chips we had a meal deal for one which chose ranch Doritos & drink. Not a very big place both worth stopping in & trying it out. There is handicap parking & entrance. They are connected to a Dairy Queen but have separate entry & when you come from bathrooms same thing. Really outstanding my sister is very picky & she couldn't stop saying how amazing her sandwich was done & tastes. This was in the afternoon on a Saturday that we had such amazing service. These two employees were outstanding & deserve to be told so.”

I felt so bad about taking extra time as a line had started forming behind me. Raymond was all positivity however and directed me to the customer service desk to void out enough items so that I could finish my transaction with Jo Ann. After a few minutes, Raymond surprised me by coming back up to us, handing Jo Ann his own card and telling her to put the items back in my bags. i am so grateful to him and HY-VEE. i hadn't been having a very good day and he completely turned it around for me. “We stopped here after a long day, just wanting to get a quick bite and some treats. The drive thru line was very long, but we chanced it. The line moved incredibly quickly and we ordered in no time. When we got our chicken strips, they were the best DQ chicken strips I've ever had. Mostly chicken with just the right amount of breading and they were hot! Just the way it should be. Our treats were well mixed and delicious. This is definitely a great DQ.”
