“Bloom is such an amazing, yummy, healthy choice for breakfast or lunch or even dinner! Always feel great after eating there and so many choices!!! My favorite is the Nest bowl with Matcha instead of cacao in it! Friendly atmosphere and cute place!”

“One of the most unique and interesting Ice Cream shops I have been too, not to mention some darn good Ice Cream! Generous scoops for the price, the Carmel and Smores flavors were delicious. The writing on the walls, and tables was fun to read, and it had a very cozy vibe. I will definitely be back.”

“I grew up going to the old location of Pannekoeken and LOVED it. I had countless Sunday brunches with my grandparents and parents there, begging for troll dolls and ordering the namesake dish so that I could hear the servers announce my breakfast.

Much of this charm remains, but I kind of HATE this new location. The wide open warehouse-esque space is not cozy and does not fit the vibe of the food or nostalgia needed for this restaurant to shine.”

“This is the only restaurant that I have worked at that I will ALWAYS come back to. For the atmosphere, live music, the incredible staff (no, not favoring because I worked here, totally different staff), the food is consistent and the drinks- chefs kiss (Ryan is FANTASTIC)! Something about coming here is like coming home, it's very cozy and intimate! A best kept secret of Rochester for sure! I must add that the staff are seemingly genuine and you can tell they enjoy their jobs- not like other restaurants where you get a fake nice.”

But what keeps my family going again and again is the fact that they are SO sweet about medical stuff (being right by Mayo that is HUGE). I can recall several examples of the staff being supportive towards my mom who has been living with end stage cancer for years now. We go EVERY appointment and surgery scheduled in Rochester. In fact - we are going tonight!”

“Visited on 2/23/2025 for dinner, had Guinness fish and chips. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. My wife had Shepard's pie and she raved about it. Ashley G was our server that day and was excellent. Was so good we went back for lunch 2/26/2025. I had the Celtic Meat loaf, and my wife had Shepard's pie again. Chris W. was our server and was also excellent. For the atmosphere and service wad above pare and prices were very reasonable. I would whole hardily recommend you eat here if you visit Rochester, MN”

“The patio could be the location for Lord of the Flies! I enjoyed the Onion Rings appetizer and Fish & Fries. The food was good but I had to cover the food with napkins because there were so many flies. I asked a server to turn up the ceiling fans to blow them away and was told that was the highest speed available. I guess that was the easiest answer because the fan was barely moving. They can do much better.”

We love stopping here during our many trips from Twin Cities to Rochester and back.

The breakfast reminded me of hearty farm breakfasts. We could taste the difference it makes with fresh ingredients. They put a lot of care into preparing the meals and delivering to the table. Again, it felt like being on the family farm.

Everyone is friendly and the locals stream in all morning!

“went here for the first time today! im so glad we came here. this was an incredible experience. our server was an absolute sweetheart and the sushi was absolutely premium quality. I got the all you can eat. had some shrimp and calamari tempura, Phoenix roll, new crazy roll, futa maki, and royal roll. the phoenix was a very strong start, a great first roll. the new crazy roll was my first time trying deep fried sushi, I had no idea what to expect but never could have expected what I got. it blew my mind. Futa Maki was a great roll to have after the crazy roll because the crazy roll is very bold and the futs maki was milder and simpler. a delicious high quality pallette cleanser and a great transition into the Royal Roll. which was my favorite one. the lobster sauce was sweet, the presentation was gorgeous. like everything else, the flavor was high quality and the roll was expertly crafted.
