Grace also helped out and delivered our food and was so friendly and bubbly and was nice to chat with. Jordan, the manager stopped by the table to see how our experience was and made sure there was nothing else we needed.We would definitely go back and highly recommend it!”

“We stopped here for lunch while waiting on a family member to come out of surgery at the Mayo Clinic. It was a delicious meal, and the service was wonderful. If I lived in Rochester, I would come here ALL THE TIME. I got the spicy yellow tail salad bowl, and it was perfection. My dad got the beef with broccoli and also really liked it--very fresh and not overly salty like this dish can sometimes be.”
“Our server Joe was on point with all his recommendations and the entire service team was equally attentive. The best charcuterie in Rochester and worth a visit - I will go back for the espresso brûlée as well. All food and drinks were outstanding and bonus points for the fabulous decor (crystal chandeliers everywhere!). So glad this restaurant is part of the local food scene!!”

“We have been to Townies on game day for their great drink specials. But had never had their food. Friday night they had free delivery so we took advantage of that. We had onion rings, cheese curds, and wings. All were a 10!! So good!! Besides how great the food was, it came quickly and was literally still hot. Not too often that happens with delivery. My new "go to" food place! Can't wait to try the subs next time! 5 STARS!”

“We’ve come to Rochester a few times. Hollandberry Pannekoeken is one of our go to breakfast spots! We’ve always had excellent service and while it’s a bit on the expensive side, the amount of food you get is great. There are plenty of sweet options like waffles, French toast and Pannekoeken (which is a unique pancake type of food). I’m big on eggs and hash browns and the skillets are great as well.”
“Well let's be frank! It's a strictly get in line and add scoops to a cone! The ice cream flavors are plentiful and delicious. They do have an option for adding condiments but I noticed most ppl just stick with the ice cream cones or cups. They also have delicious cookies for cookie ice cream sandwiches. Just warm, soft and chewy on the inside with a little crunch on the outside. If you're in the area you must give it a try if you like ice cream!!”

“We began our meal with an order of focaccia and hummus (served with warm pita bread) -- both were wonderful. My husband had the Mafalde wild boar ragu. I had the vegetarian dish, Gnudi. We were both pleased with our meals. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert so we shared a French Press of coffee. Although not the quickest, our server was sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable.”

“I would definitely recommend Mr Pizza. We will definitely be repeat customers. It is the best pizza! We are new to Rochester so had no idea where to order our pizza through. Ordered over the phone as we drive to Rochester. Ordering over the phone was easy. We explained what time our GPS indicated we would be to their business. We picked up our pizza and just by the weight of the box, knew we were getting some some good pizza and not just crust with little bit of toppings. This pizza does not disappoint! No need to ask for "extra" toppings to get a full pizza. The pizza was delicious. We even had leftover for today because at other puzza places you typically get crust with a few toppings and can eat the whole pizza; but not Mr Pizza pizza. They have plenty of toppings!”
“Great ice cream. Fun atmosphere, what more could you want? It has some of the best ice cream with a good variety of flavors that have fun names like Cookie Monster. With the ship theme, they put an upside-down sugar cone on some to make it look like a ship. Very fun.”

The wines were crazy good. It’s hard to pick just one to bring home.We also had lunch while we were there. The turkey sandwich with Swiss on a croissant with rosemary & heirloom tomatoes. Such delicious food. We had the side salad with it. It was an explosion of flavor. The spinach & Artichoke dip was wonderful too. Not a single thing we didn’t absolutely love. I gave the atmosphere a 2 because we almost got hit getting in the place, and the other customers there didn't even understand how a drive-through works; I also wasn't asked for my app code. But I just didn't care by the time my order was taken, long day after work, much like them, I'm sure. Food was fine. Sloppy and McTasty. Just be careful on 2nd street, drunk people swerving everywhere.”

However the people around here (whether in restaurants/ hospitality/ medical) have a way of making you feel comforted and cared for. Pasquale’s pizzeria was an escape from reality and just a breath of fresh air with amazing Italian food, desserts and merchandise galore, a much needed pour of wine, and unexpected conversation with strangers that now seem like best friends. What more could you ask for? I loved being here to eat and enjoy life! It’s a MUST if you come to Rochester! You will not be disappointed :) I honestly can’t wait to come back and try more!”

As we were driving down Route 52 trying to make it to Culvers before closing, I called and asked if we could get the full menu if we came in minutes before closing. Whoever answered the phone was so positive and warm and assured us that we could indeed! Literally, we walked in at 9:58 p.m. They were scheduled to close in two minutes. However, the entire crew greeted us with warmth and smiles. We had fish, cheese curds, fries, etc. Everything was fresh and delicious. At 10:20 (20 minutes past closing time), a worker came by our table to see if we needed anything else. We were not pressured at anytime to leave. Unbelievable! We just know we would not experience such special service anywhere but Culver's in Rochester, MN! This team should be so proud. What a delightful place.”

I can't remember what it was called, but it had marshmallow fluff and lucky charms on it, and for that to work as ingredients for a good burger is absolutely mind-blowing. No kidding!”

The golden ale that was crisp and a little on the bitter side, and the Tuba nanas hefeweizen which is very smooth and quite literally has aromatics that smell like banana laffy taffy! There's no speaker at the menu so you have to remember what you want when you go up to the window to order, maybe they could have some paper menus available if you're not quite sure or a screen? Very friendly service though!”
“The first time in my life that I’ve accidentally gone to a restaurant without money. So embarrassing. After telling the drive through man that I left my debit card at home and only had the $3 cash and that was was going to have to cancel my order, the guy at the window Martin, just whipped out his wallet and said “I got you, no worries” I couldn’t even believe it. I am just shook at my mistake and, and even more so impressed by the generosity and his friendly customer service! Martin credited his level of customer service training to his manager. Keep killin’ it! Also, the mint concrete mixer is so good!”

“Food was great! It was our first time trying Chick-fil-A. The service was quick. Our biggest problem wasn't the inside atmosphere (we did drive through), it was navigating the drive up to order. The lanes are very narrow and curvy and definitely not made for a truck to navigate through. I can not imagine someone with anything being pulled behind their vehicle being able to use the convenience of the drive through! When it's a hassle to have to park your truck/camper, truck/boat, or just bigger truck/van and walk inside to eat; people will think to go elsewhere to eat so they don't have to exit their vehicle just to grab a quick meal”

We had the place pretty much to ourselves. Lots of TVs. Okay music. We could watch our meal being prepared on a flat top in the kitchen. Everything came out quite quickly. The wonton appetizers were nice and crisp with a maple syrup and like a Freddy's frie sauce with them. ??The cheeseburgers were cooked to order (medium) and were nice and greasy as they should be fried on a flat top. The fries were good, too. It was a Monday at 1 pm. We would go there again.”

Service is honestly the biggest thing I noticed during my visit. The barista (maybe owner?) greeted me with a huge smile and welcome. Multiple people during my short time here came in and knew her by name - they asked about her holiday plans and when she would reopen after a short holiday break. It was clear she had created community here - something that's really special in a cafe. I got a hot matcha and it had great flavor. I also got a gluten-free chocolate chip scone that felt a bit dry, but otherwise good. There seating definitely fills up fast in here with some fellow visitors and medical students, so I ended up sharing a table with some students. Outlets were a bit limited as well. I started seeing Moka pop up around me after my visit - my friend in Madison swears by their coffee beans, and others rave about their coffee and lattes. Give them a try in Rochester!”

The food was great as we tried 7-8 different items and found we are sushi lovers! “Super cool bar. You have to solve a riddle to get in. Dark atmosphere. Bartenders are very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Only down fall is the drinks were terrible. I had a rum runner and Mai Tai and both were like drinking nail polish remover. Way over priced as well. My group had 1 drink and left. Would definitely have stayed if they had good drinks.”
“Much to my surprise, they have white chocolate mocha and white chocolate hot chocolate! I absolutely had to get it! White chocolate is so rare! The servers were polite and chatty! Not as many seating options as I usually like, but still a nice little place. My only complaint is that it was a bit cold in temperature and the place. It's very understandable that the staff was wearing long sleeves and hoodies. It's chilly in there.”
“Best tacos in town. The wife and I ate the al pastor tacos last night while watching The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It's the best movie of the series and great taco-eating entertainment. Definitely didn't leave hungry! They really didn't need to make the last book into two separate movies imho. My wife is #TeamPeeta but idk Gale is hot as hell. Looking forward to getting more Francis Tacos so we can finally finish these movies”

“The entire crew that was working on the evening of Tuesday, October 3, 2023 deserve many praises. This was simply amazing service at its best. As we were driving down Route 52 trying to make it to Culvers before closing, I called and asked if we could get the full menu if we came in minutes before closing. Whoever answered the phone was so positive and warm and assured us that we could indeed! Literally, we walked in at 9:58 p.m. They were scheduled to close in two minutes. However, the entire crew greeted us with warmth and smiles. We had fish, cheese curds, fries, etc. Everything was fresh and delicious. At 10:20 (20 minutes past closing time), a worker came by our table to see if we needed anything else. We were not pressured at anytime to leave. Unbelievable! We just know we would not experience such special service anywhere but Culver's in Rochester, MN! This team should be so proud. What a delightful place.”

Freshly sliced, liberal amounts of cheese, a crunchy, thick crust with a sweet but not too sweet tomato sauce make this absolutely wonderful pizza. Broasted chicken is great, the jo-jos are better than fries, and their hoagies are next-level good. Service is always pleasant, and there's a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Everything is reasonably priced, and there's booths and arcade machines, so bring your kids along. Overall, one of my favorite spots to grab a bite in Rochester.”

I tried the southwest steak salad - it wasn't very southwest with its barely cajun ranch dressing and marinated diced tomatoes. The steak could be cooked a bit less to show more pink - I appreciate the thin slices. Salad could definitely use more cheese. Their breakfast menu looked pretty good - maybe I'll try it next time. “Best selection of eye glasses in Rochester, MN. If you want to be taken care of, go to Huber Eyecare. The entire staff is very professional and they know what they are doing. Dr. Huber is excellent and makes you feel comfortable during the comprehensive eye exam (even if it’s been a while since your last one). He’s knowledgeable and trustworthy. When you’re done with your eye exam, you’re taken care of by the rest of the staff, not only was Sabrina helpful to select new eyewear, but when I was indecisive she brought over another staff member to give their feedback on different styles of glasses. It was extremely helpful and I highly recommend others to head into Huber Eyecare for their next eye exam!”

“We’ve come to Rochester a few times. Hollandberry Pannekoeken is one of our go to breakfast spots! We’ve always had excellent service and while it’s a bit on the expensive side, the amount of food you get is great. There are plenty of sweet options like waffles, French toast and Pannekoeken (which is a unique pancake type of food). I’m big on eggs and hash browns and the skillets are great as well.”

“This simple cup of vanilla ice cream will forever be in my heart as a wonderful memory and experience! Coming to Rochester to take our chances at Mayo Clinic was daunting and nerve wrecking. However the people around here (whether in restaurants/ hospitality/ medical) have a way of making you feel comforted and cared for. Pasquale’s pizzeria was an escape from reality and just a breath of fresh air with amazing Italian food, desserts and merchandise galore, a much needed pour of wine, and unexpected conversation with strangers that now seem like best friends. It's definitely worth trying, and being a little bold, sometimes you win, and this was a winner. I can't remember what it was called, but it had marshmallow fluff and lucky charms on it, and for that to work as ingredients for a good burger is absolutely mind-blowing. No kidding!”
