“Would’ve given them 5* but they keep running out of Oreo cheesecake! It’s the best flavour in the world and they keep such a small stock this is the 5th time I’ve gone and found out it’s sold out. Oreo cheesecake should be a flavour they keep all the time, if it keeps running out! demand == supply, it’s really maths. Anyway bury me with Oreo cheesecake that flavour is top 2 not 2”

“We were in town for a family member across the street and ate here everyday. The staff was very friendly, decor is cute, and the food is simply amazing!!!! The onion rings are so good, and the chicken and shrimp dinner served over taters with asparagus and cream sauce is to die for! We also got the chocolate raspberry cake for dessert to go and we really enjoyed it! Will be back for sure next time we are in town. Thank you to the friendly staff and chefs for making us feel welcome during a difficult time.”

“I visited Forager and the venue is welcoming with one of the best tucked away patios. The paintings on the building were beautiful. The guitarist performing outside was on point. I ordered the beef stroganoff and overall it was okay. I found it bland and it needed more flavor. The main flavor for me, was flour. I also had to ask for salt and pepper which was not provided. There was some dill on it which added some flair but not enough dill. I feel fresh parsley will bring this dish to life along with some extra garlic. The carrot cake cupcake was amazing. The light frosting, the carmel drizzel, and candied carrots all were flavorful!”

“The patio could be the location for Lord of the Flies! I enjoyed the Onion Rings appetizer and Fish & Fries. The food was good but I had to cover the food with napkins because there were so many flies. I asked a server to turn up the ceiling fans to blow them away and was told that was the highest speed available. I guess that was the easiest answer because the fan was barely moving. They can do much better.”

But what keeps my family going again and again is the fact that they are SO sweet about medical stuff (being right by Mayo that is HUGE). I can recall several examples of the staff being supportive towards my mom who has been living with end stage cancer for years now. We go EVERY appointment and surgery scheduled in Rochester. In fact - we are going tonight!”

I got the all you can eat. had some shrimp and calamari tempura, Phoenix roll, new crazy roll, futa maki, and royal roll. the phoenix was a very strong start, a great first roll. the new crazy roll was my first time trying deep fried sushi, I had no idea what to expect but never could have expected what I got. it blew my mind. Futa Maki was a great roll to have after the crazy roll because the crazy roll is very bold and the futs maki was milder and simpler. a delicious high quality pallette cleanser and a great transition into the Royal Roll. which was my favorite one. the lobster sauce was sweet, the presentation was gorgeous. like everything else, the flavor was high quality and the roll was expertly crafted. “The food was outstanding. The sauces on the two dishes we tried were phenomenal. They were even able to replace the butter in the sauce with virgin olive oil for the Veal Portabella dish. We liked it so much we bought a quart to bring back home with us to Chicago. We used it on Salmon I caught in Alaska. It was amazing how the sauce complimented the salmon. The staff was super friendly and knowledgable about about the menu and were able to make excellent recommendations on choosing what to try. It was our first time there. We will definitely be going back when we are back in Rochester.”

“This is the only restaurant that I have worked at that I will ALWAYS come back to. For the atmosphere, live music, the incredible staff (no, not favoring because I worked here, totally different staff), the food is consistent and the drinks- chefs kiss (Ryan is FANTASTIC)! Something about coming here is like coming home, it's very cozy and intimate! A best kept secret of Rochester for sure! I must add that the staff are seemingly genuine and you can tell they enjoy their jobs- not like other restaurants where you get a fake nice.”

He was inviting and informative on the menu! Many menu options to choose from and all different kinds of spice levels. I went with the Thai basil with chicken lunch special and veggie spring rolls. But it needs a little attention. I don't know if there's an elevator because we went up the stairs on the outside. It actually took us a bit to figure out where it was. It doesn't have a great signage and the entrance is in a courtyard. We almost felt like you were going through a different establishment.”
