“Small, friendly and flavorful libations. Will return!Parking: Seating is bar, high top or table. Fills up fast so go early and weekday. The best staff and the libations.. mmm mmgoood. Parking is easy...Kid-friendliness: Our one-year-old granddaughter was welcomed with open arms. The rest of the family similarly. Great place.“
“For a restaurant that is located on busy 2nd Street in Rochester the Canadian honker has easy parking behind the restaurant and also a lot that’s across the street. Walking into Canadian honker there is a cozy and homey feeling. The service was spectacular and the food was delicious. No take-home boxes were needed. We stopped in for breakfast and I had a lumberjack with French toast. I will definitely be back.“
“We’ve eaten at Tilda’s and ordered for pick-up, and have not been disappointed! The pizza is delicious with unique options. The place is quiet (I hate when you have to yell over the music or others’ conversations). And when we pre-ordered for pick-up, it was hot & ready at the exact minute we requested. Fantastic place!“
“Came here for brunch with my family and we had a wonderful experience with our server Lydia! She was very diligent with answering all our questions and such a pleasant girl to chat with. The food was also amazing, I highly recommend trying the Veggie Scramble!“
“Second time we have been here and I must recommend..just goooooo! The food is fantastic, deliciously creative, with generous portions. Fun and yummy drinks. The staff has all been great as well, friendly, helpful, and attentive even while busy. The place is clean and comfortable with awesome atmosphere and style. Can hardly wait to try more of their menu!“
“We stopped in for a dark beer in the middle of the afternoon. The place has a nice downtown vibe. The bartender, Adam, was friendly, and we enjoyed a cold beverage with some light hearted conversation. The beer menu wasn't as extensive as their west side establishment, but still good. We didn't eat, but their menu looks quite similar, so I'm sure it's delish.“
“Close to home atmosphere, with great "know your name" or at least your drink, service. In the middle of a very promising remodel, while still not inconveniencing customers. Remodeled bathrooms, too, for those of you that have been there. Quite classy.“
“Food is hit or miss. Examples: pork tacos are simply chopped & cubed pork. Odd choice. Chicken sandwiches can be a bit dry, just a little more sauce away from being good. Waffles fries are great. Also there are low-hanging opportunists to boost the table experience. The QR codes are peeled up off the table & the order numbers are ‘floppy’. Fix thisStaff is great, attentive, and quick.“
“I ordered from Glynner's this day because it was Friday during Lent. I looked online around town to see what other restaurants were offering for Lent specials, but what made me choose Glynner's was the various options. They offered Walleye. another type of fish, and shrimp all made two different ways. The shrimp tacos and the Walleye strips were amazing. My only letdown was the onion rings. They were extremely greasy. Definitely recommend trying Glynner's on a Friday during Lent for these specials.“
“Only there once but the people seem fun and the country band for entertainment was nice! I had a bad experience with the North Star up in st Paul so I had some anxiety going at first but it was a fun time I don't live in Rochester though.“
“We are staying at St. Mary's and I ordered the Hot Ham and cheese deluxe and kiddos cheeseburger with a side of two shakes!!! let me tell the food was simply amazing nice big portions and the shakes were just the right consistency and so tasty!!!! We did use door dash for the delivery!! A++++“
“The storefront may initially be generic, but despite it being a sports bar this is a spot I think has a uniqueness to it. Breakfast options were classic, heavy and hardy meals made to satisfy, and I can imagine a worker being very pleased with the selection.“
“This was a welcome dinner option for my mom and me when we were done with her Mayo Clinic appts for the day. She had a chicken wrap and sweet potato fries and was super happy with her choices. I had a walleye sandwich and regular fries (which were legit great, although I recommend asking for half seasoning). We split a Snickers pie for dessert which was decent. Prices were also reasonable. I very much appreciated being able to treat her to a decent dinner after a long day without having to leave the hotel!“
“Come here every other Monday from gymnastics for dinner. Food is great I recommend the hog heaven, service is good. They gave claw machines and games for kids. Only thing I don't like is that the bathrooms are super cold that's about the only thing!“
“In the area and stopped for the first time. Awesome friendly staff - food was delish and the atmosphere was so fun. Lots of regulars there and everyone was fun and entertaining. We didn't feel like we were in a big city, more like our own small town bar. We will definitely be back.“
“We visited for the first time for dinner. We were welcomed warmly and promptly seated by Eva. Eva was also our waitress. Serive was excellent with good timing. We had the Rising Sun Drop and Oaked Cherry Blossom cocktails; gyoza; onion soup; unagi nigiri, salmon, yellowtail, and white tuna sashimi; and chicken and filet mignon hibachi with teriyaki noodles. The food and drinks were all delicious. The steak pieces were wonderfully tender and juicy. The gyoza pleasantly reminded me of Japan. The sashimi pieces are fresh and HUGE. The chocolate torte is very good and would benefit from small cups of raspberry sauce and creme Anglais for dipping. A very enjoyable dinner. We will be back. They have a very good sake selection and offer a flight.“
“Bartenders are amazing! However, popcorn machine broke over a month ago but owner is too cheep to fix it. Apparently he won’t let them turn on the a/c either and it’s super hot in here so you might want to call ahead and confirm the temp before going. If you like a sauna feel it’s perfect on a humid night.“
“Pappy's has so many things going for it. Great onion rings. Great salad bar. Great potatoes au gratin. Great kids burger. Great breakfast. Great coffee. Just a great place to go with the family.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, kids cups with lid and straw“
“We began our meal with an order of focaccia and hummus (served with warm pita bread) -- both were wonderful. My husband had the Mafalde wild boar ragu. I had the vegetarian dish, Gnudi. We were both pleased with our meals. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert so we shared a French Press of coffee. Although not the quickest, our server was sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable.“
