“I ordered a tray of 24 street tacos through email the day before pick up. We were traveling and they were flexible and responsive with our times changing. They also gave us chips and large orders of rice and beans. Price was great and fed a large party. All of the food was absolutely delicious, warm, and flavorful. Highly recommend. “Chicken quesadilla (light cheese, no cilantro) and 4 chicken tacos (light cheese, no cilantro). Received as ordered. I was the only customer at the time and entire visit was about 10 minutes. The shredded chicken, refried beans, and rice were spot on! Service was super friendly; she even smiled at my poor Spanish. No lettuce on tacos, but I've been told that's not how tacos are traditionally served. Delicious just the same!Heads up! The red salsa is angry and is likely receiving counseling; the verde salsa has an attitude (probably because the red salsa is getting more attention). You've been warned!Atmosphere 4/5 only because it was 37° and it seems the land owner might not allow a windscreen.Parking: Odd parking, but nothing to complain about.Wheelchair accessibility: They would likely be more than happy to fully open the window or come out to take order, etc. However, there is a platform in front of the order window. “Best tacos in town. The wife and I ate the al pastor tacos last night while watching The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It's the best movie of the series and great taco-eating entertainment. Definitely didn't leave hungry! They really didn't need to make the last book into two separate movies imho. My wife is #TeamPeeta but idk Gale is hot as hell. Looking forward to getting more Francis Tacos so we can finally finish these movies“
“The food is absolutely delicious and their guacamole & margaritas are absolutely amazing! We also loved playing trivia with Meredith as the host and had a great time! The owner was really welcoming and they have beautiful bar that is very modern.Vegetarian options: I ordered the veggie vampiros tacos & a side of guacamole. As a vegetarian I was told the whole beans (not refried) are vegan and to stay away from the the rice because of chicken stock. It was honestly so delicious and I can't wait to return.“
“Hands down my favorite birria tacos in the area. Never had a bad meal yet and I’ve tried a variety of different dishes. Love the way they prepare the refied beans. My only complaint is that the lighting is too bright and white at the new locations. Feels a bit like I’m eating at a supermarket. “The hotel we were staying at this taco truck outside and we decided to try it. It was fabulous! My significant other said the tacos he tried were even better than any taco he has tried, including Chicago tacos. For anyone that knows anything about Chicago food, that is saying a lot. The food was very fresh as well.“
“Look, you could go to chipotle. Or you could class or up and go to Qdoba. OR you could come here. Boxcar hippie is all of those chain restaurants and more. The ingredients taste fresh, the portions are good and the price is about the same. Granted, it was $42 for two burritos and some chips and queso but, the chips are unlike anywhere else. They are seasoned and they are also layered if that makes sense. The burritos are fantastic and I would eat one every day if it made sense logistically. Please, try this place. You will not be disappointed.“

“They’re friendly and they explained everything in the Menu, the portion of the meal is big enough… we tried the Quesabirrias and the Pork tamales .. and plus they give some soup with your quesabirrias which were DELICIOUS! We’ve been here many times because of their authentic Mexican food.“
“BEST tacos in town!! And trust me, I've tried them all! The meat is so tender and flavorful, and the tortillas are unlike anything I've seen before. These tacos are so good you can even eat them cold, which I've done before. (lol) Their agua frescas drinks are also super good and come in a variety of flavors, including raspberry hibiscus, and cucumber (pepino). Their desserts are super yummy as well, I really recommend you give this place a try! The service is amazing as well, the guy is super nice and funny. He deserves all the good business coming to him! :)They also have a really good hot Cheeto elote (corn) on the cob, which I didn't get a picture of but was super good too!!!“
“Great little taco/burrito truck! super fresh food, the owner was super helpful when I could not decide what flavor I wanted and let me mix them. Elote was also great. Loved the grilled onion and jalapeno as well. Looking forward to visiting again when I'm back in the area in the nicer weather.“

“Food was so so so good! Their house salsa was delicious! A little bite to it, which we loved. I ordered a cucumber-jalapeño margarita that I could not even get halfway through, unfortunately. It was so “swampy” from whatever was muddled and VERY syrupy! Couldn’t get anything through the straw after a certain point because of how much crud was floating around lol. 10/10 food, 4/10 margarita“
“First time trying this place and it was outstanding. Customer service was amazing and the food was even better. Definitely will try again when we are back in the area. Food was so flavorful and hot, made right after ordering. Place is smaller which is fine but clean! Highly recommend and they accommodated all the modifications for ordering.The housemate chips and fresh guacamole and salsa are so wonderful. Definitely a must stop!“
