When I was driving home it hit me that I should have taken time to compliment the employee that helped me. I don’t know his name but the interaction brightened my evening yesterday as much as the banana split blizzard. I’m guessing that warm sunny days in April in MN means everyone talks about the weather while getting ice cream but he made it sound like the first conversation he had that day, and the warmth and laughter were genuine. We have visited numerous Cold Stone Creamery from around the country...and had begun to rethink CSC due to most having grumpy non-caring employees, rarely fill the bowl and do not ask for a substituted mix in.

I love their super thick chocolate chip cookie, but I’m also a fan of their super thin version because the bottom caramelizes and gives it a perfect sweet crunch. I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake cookie even though I don’t normally like cheesecake. Great flavors, huge cookies and always something new to try.“
