The lady was very rude not just to my bf but to what looked to be new worker she seemed like the manager the food was good but the service was terrible the lady yelled at the poor kid saying he was in the way and swore and my bf told the worker that the lady yelled at that he did nothing wrong that he's perfectly ok the lady snapped her head at my bf mouthing off to him

I went in on Monday night on 8/18/25 and the only person working the food line was this girl with purple reddish hair . She was visibly upset that the girl with the black curly haired girl was not at all helping. I have seen these two a few times and it has been happening every. single .time . At this point the girl looks miserable working there. I have never once seen the other girl doing her job or even helping at most . She either sits there on her phone or goes to the back and talks to people over the phone . I hope management has a talk with her employees!!! It’s very pathetic on her part and her employees!!! Do better pine island subway .

Staff are not the most friendly. I dont trust the food prep and sanitary practices. I witnessed a pan bread of being dropped on the floor, a few bread loaves being through away, and then the whole pan being thrown back in the bread warmer.

My daughter in law stopped by before and game to order 3 subs and the service was awful. When it came time to put the sides on he put 2 pieces of onion on the sub I asked for more and he was rude! He seemed annoyed and bothered. Heavier set guy!

My husband and I are on the road often and tend to stop at Subways for lunch. I can’t say I have the best experience at all of them but today 2/27/25 we stopped at the Subway in Pine Island and the lady working the morning shift around 10:45am was so sweet and made great sandwiches! Very pleased and would definitely come back.

Update: still sucks, service sucks and the quality of the food has went way down. Quantity & quality of the proteins is much less. Just can't get a decent at the Pine Island Subway anymore.
Way below par. I ordered online 2 sandwiches; meatball marinara and a steak & cheese melt. Arrived 4-5 minutes after the app said it would be ready. Ok, It's like close to 100 degrees today but the sandwiches were luke warm.
The steak sandwich only had slivers, and I mean 2 small slivers of onion, pepperchini etc. The wasn't enough meat to even taste it in the sandwich. Check the photo.
Terrible sandwich, not even close to being worth the cost.
We will not be buying there again.

Decided to take my kids to Subway after a youth softball game. The young lady that was on the protein (meat) side was friendly. All the rest of my families orders were fine but I ordered a turkey bacon avocado wrap last. As we are waiting for the bacon to cook. The other employee ask what I am having and makes us pay. When he goes to put the other toppings he advises no avocado and I will need to choose other toppings. I asked for refund and was told I would need to come back. Very disappointed for the lack of communication between the employees as well as to the customers.
