“Amazing food in a cool setting! Food is fresh homemade to order and cooked perfectly with obviously gifted staff. I can not even remember the last time those words came out of my mouth. First visit, so only can go on the appetizer, salad (oh my god the salad) and entree that I consumed, but I will return to explore more. Side note; This place prompted my first review ever”

“My MIL and I went there for lunch. First experience for both of us. We each had the Big John and it was very tasty! And filling, but we didn’t want to waste a morsel of it! I had tater tot’s which I ordered extra crispy and that’s exactly how they were! YUM! Donna is cook, server and cashier and she does it all and still has time to joke around with her diners. It was nice to patronize a “mom and pop” diner versus a chain restaurant. We will definitely go back there again.

“Great dive bar right off the highway. Very friendly service from an upbeat bartender/server. Food was REALLY good. Known for the their dumpling soup --- it did not disappoint! Burgers were amazin too -- unique in culnary taste and flavorful. The bar, iteself, is large with alot of seating and then the dining part too is very large. I'd definitely stop back and grab a cold beer and burger!”

“My husband and I finally got to the restaurant for the first time last night (Saturday.) I had the delicious braised short ribs and he had the cedar plank salmon. They were out of the sweet potato mash, and so I had to have potatoes instead. The waitress offered us a free dessert to make up for it but since I had given up sweets for lent, my husband enjoyed the lemon curd vanilla cheesecake. I told the waitress that I couldn’t have sweets until Sunday but because every Sunday is a little Easter and she so brought me another slice “to go” for the next day. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about mixed drinks and wine and we had a nice chat with him. He’s from Los Angeles as am I so we caught up on the scene in California. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a delicious meal!”

“Great... Different menu items than the norm of most places. Unique may be a better term but most certainly worth the visit. Awesome surroundings, little crowded on the weekends. Larger groups wouldn't hurt to call in a spot few days in advance. Then again that helps one realize how excellent this place is. Great staff and super location. Can even bring your boat... Over the water that is. See you there. Smiles for miles!”
