I work in a restaurant, so I typically don’t do things like this but I had to this time…. I came in and waited 17 mins to be seated while 7 different employees looked at me and didn’t say anything…. We almost turned around and walked out, they had 2 employees sitting on their phones staring at us and didn’t help. Then was given a dirty cup that wasn’t even attempted to be filled all the way. Again I don’t typically leave reviews let alone bad ones because I work in the service industry and I get how it is sometimes but man I would be so disappointed if my staff at my restaurant gave service like this.
I would like to shoutout our server though he was great!

Sunday. 11/09/25. Ordered the grilled cheese burger special. It came with a dab of tomato soup. NO Spoon. By the time someone came by so we could ask for a spoon and then got the spoon, the soup was cold. Asked for boxes. Got one and then had to ask for sla second. The oriental chicken salad was so soupy with dreasing. Asked a a TV to be turned on so we could watch the MN VIK game. Nope. Couldn't get refills on the soda. It felt like an inconvenience that we were there and it was not even busy. We were there about 1140 a.m. Thought we'd try again as it was always been wishy washy with the food quality. Guess we won't try again. Pretty sad.

Servers seem to be very cold and dry, manager doesn't come to check on all guests. Seems manager pre-judges whom they check on/speak to.

⭐ 1 Star — “Applebee’s, Where Fries Go to Die”
If I could give half a star, I would — but I’ll round up for the sheer absurdity of the experience. I didn’t expect Applebee’s to be fine dining, but I did expect edible food. My “burger” arrived with a mystery sauce so watery it could’ve been ladled from a puddle in the parking lot. The bun was soggy, the patty was gray, and the whole thing had the personality of a microwaved sponge.
Then came the fries — all six of them. Yes, six. I counted. When we asked for more (you know, like a normal serving of fries), our server cheerfully informed us that would be an extra side order. I almost laughed, thinking it was a joke. It wasn’t. Apparently, in this Applebee’s universe, potatoes are a luxury item.
If you’re craving disappointment garnished with regret and a dash of confusion, this is your spot. Otherwise, save yourself and head literally anywhere else that serves food. Even the gas station down the street would have been an upgrade.

I placed an order online for curbside pickup. The tracking system showed my order would be ready at 8:23, and it was marked as complete at 8:25. However, I waited at the curbside parking spot until 8:45 with no one bringing out my order. When I finally went inside, I found several employees sitting at a table eating. When I asked the bartender if anyone was handling curbside orders, I was met with an indifferent and dismissive response — it felt like they couldn’t have cared less. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I hope management takes steps to improve their curbside service and customer communication

The food at the Applebees in red wing is misleading. 3 weeks ago went there and ordered a steak. When it arrived it was one of the worst steak I’ve had. It was nothing like the image and it was rubbery. Couple days ago we went again I ordered a burger. Again nothing like the picture of a big burger but it came out looking like a Culver’s burger. I have been eating at Applebees for a very long time and either they are going under or just serving cheaper food but the last two time I’ve gone I have decided not again. This is probably not all Applebees but the one in Red Wing is having some issues.

Blake the Assistant Manager is amazing and Zee our server was great! We had the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp and the chefs outdid themselves tonight! One of the best Applebee's I been to.
