The food is so good here. We have always been so happy with everything we have tried. Only small negative is that the décor is aged. It is clean enough, but some new flooring and paint would really help.
Living in a rural area, it's a rare treat to find a sushi spot like River Sushi. This little gem stands out as the only sushi place in town, and it's quite good for its location. Their maki rolls are enjoyable, reminding me a bit of buffet rolls you'd find in the city. While the nigiri sushi options didn't particularly stand out, the specialty rolls, priced around $9, were a good value. We just moved to Red Wing so this was our first experience with River Sushi and it was good. Tasty and spicy. The rice is incredibly fresh (we made our order in the evening and the rice was still fresh). The atmosphere is old, but this is the outskirts of the state. Still, very clean.
