The place is very small and gets packed when it is busy. They do have a lot of variety of different pastry from donuts to cookies and bread. I ordered different kind of donuts, and they were delicious. I will definitely come back here whenever I am visiting Redwing again.
Stopped in as I'd heard about this bakery (know for their specialty cookies) on TV in the Twin Cities. I purchased two leprechaun cookies...a rather pricey "designer cookie" treat for a friend I was meeting a friend in LaCrosse for a Girl's Weekend. Was disappointed when I opened the box at the hotel to find that the cookies had been overlaid in the box and the bottom cookie had been crushed on over half of the cookie. This is such an adorable small town local bakery! It's a popular, busy place! The speciality donuts are so fresh & tasty (we had a cookie dough one with frosting & cookie crumbles & 2 half chocolate chip cookies on top)! Yum! Also purchased a mini mint cake which was fresh & delicious and a package of "bad girl cookies" (little star shaped cookies with a side of frosting for dipping the cookies).
