Unfortunately got here last week before they close out. Cozy spot, live music, a lot of good potential. Bartenders are more distracted and ignorant rather than promptly with clients.

I ate here recently with a friend and it was a terrific experience. The food was amazing, and early on a Friday night, it wasn't too busy at all. I had the Irish Meatloaf, and it was unique and tasty. My friend had the Chicken Moulin Rouge and it was also delicious. The staff were very friendly - especially the bartender who greeted us coming in and leaving. Would definitely go again.
Update Aug 2024: just heard they are going out of business. This is such a bummer!

Chef Youness Bojji is amazing. He is accommodating, pleasant, talented and makes the dining experience extra special. Always ask about the special, we have never been disappointed.

Here's the abbreviated version:
Food; excellent. Establishment; clean and tidy. Service; what we had for service was friendly. Hope you're not in a hurry; took awhile to get initial service and even longer to get the food. Read below if you want my explanation.
We hope it was just an off night. After seeing other reviews, we decided to stop in tonight for dinner. We made a 7pm reservation, in anticipation of them being busy (again, based on the reviews). We arrived 10 minutes early to a restaurant with 1/3 of the seats filled with appeared to be adequate staff. We sat for 15 or so minutes before anyone came over. When our server arrived, we placed our drink and dinner order; Chicken Tikka Masala w/Naan, California Smash Burger, and their appetizer of Green Beans. We then waited another 40-45 minutes for the entrees to arrive. Not all the food came at once. The Naan came a few minutes after the main dishes. At which point, I asked if the green beans were coming, the runner said she would check. Never saw her again. At no time during our dinner did our server return to check on anything. If he had, we could have asked again about the GBs. It seemed that everyone was wandering around or engrossed in conversations with each other. On the upside, our dinners tasted great! Server came over after we finished up and we mentioned that the beans never came. He asked if we still wanted them; we declined because well, we're done eating and we didn't want that kind of wait again. Paid and took our leftovers home.

We stopped for supper after driving 6 hours. The waiter immediately acknowledged us and sat us exactly where we asked. Our drink order came quickly which was much needed after a long day of driving. I had the crab nachos as my meal and the hubby had a burger. The drinks and food were delicious and we appreciated the attentive waiter. We have reservations for tomorrow otherwise we’d probably come back to try something else. We really enjoyed the story of this place shared in the menu too!

I've been to this restaurant before and have always had good food. The wait staff are always very helpful and charming. I also like how the chef/owner? comes around and checks that our food was good.
I am not a foody, but by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We shared at a table of six, several appetizers, and entrees. Every singe thing that was brought out was amazing beyond words!!! The chef and owner made it a point to interact with us, in fact the chef Youness Bojji is being featured on famous chef. Our server Ellie B was amazing and prompt. We are in town for 5 days and this is our 4th meal here. Even if Rochester is a detour on your journeys this is well worth the trip.

Excellent food and service for dinner. Everyone had a great dish but the meatloaf was the overall favorite. Multiple staff members checked in (including the Chef), waters were always filled, and the environment was very enjoyable. We were also sold on the brownie for desert and it was amazing.
My only critique is when we returned later on Friday, after 10pm. The music was really loud and only increased. The food from earlier was so good, I still have to leave 5 stars. We will definitely be back for a meal but likely not for late-night drinks.

Fantastic food! We've been here twice and have enjoyed our meals throughly! The service is outstanding, our waiter was fantastic too! We cannot wait to go back for another date night!
I absolutely love this place. The server we had (sorry couldn't find her name on receipt) was exceptional. She was so helpful with explaining the menu and making recommendations. I was super impressed with all the staff as they checked with us several times to make sure everything was good. The chef came out personally to see if we were happy with our meal and recommended his dessert Butterscotch bread pudding. We decided to share a piece, and it was phenomenal. Best bread pudding I have ever had. This is definitely a classy restaurant with high-end, delicious food. We will be back!
Thank you to all who were working on Thursday at 5 pm. You are all top-notch.

Located at the strategic location of corner of the first avenue & 3rd street (SW), this restaurant offers a street view on almost all of its tables. The iconic ceiling fans that run in trio via a motor belt mechanism decorate the ceiling in addition to providing good air circulation. Reception by the restaurant manager ( owner ) is exemplery. Service is great. Food is unique ,, the touch of the Morrocan chef cannot be missed. Each dish is a signature dish that won’t be found elsewhere.
An excellent experience.
