Chester's Kitchen & Bar

Food always hot and tasty! Staff knowledgeable and food comes out quickly! Parmesan crusted walleye is the best! Love the broccoli! Walleye bits good too! Drinks are good! Highly recommend

We hadn't eaten at Chester's in years. Not so much because of the restaurant itself, but because it's downtown in the Galleria. Driving and parking downtown especially right now is a nightmare. So many locals don't patronize the downtown establishments. So beyond it's location, we had a reservation and we're promptly seated. We were there for lunch. Neither of us had anything from the bar. My wife ordered the mediterranian Angel Hair pasta and I had the Parmesan crusted Walleye. Both were outstanding. My Walleye was Large fillet and cooked perfectly the broccoli and rice pilaf were just as well prepared. Outstanding service from our server topped off our experience. I will say that the painted white open ceiling does.make the other wise contemporary decor look dated.

Enjoyed the wahoo and stir fry very much. Our waitress was very nice and helped us w our Selections.

Michael was gracious and did not rush us. We wanted to visit with family, and he respected o time together. Food was excellent.

We frequently enjoy dinner and or lunch at Chester's ! When visiting Mayo On this night the the food was very disappointing Minute chicken was burned not beautifully browned as normal and heavily salted - also no normal Husband prime rib was ok - not juicy but good flavor. Bar tender and wait staff are always 1st class !

Im a vegetarian and their veggie chili is really great. They garnish it with a little cheese and sour cream and additional cheese costs .50. That seems « cheesy » on their part! The lamb chops special looked amazing and the meatloaf was (I'm told) absolutely great but apparently the broccoli toasted with garlic that accompanied it was spectacular. Also, the cornbread was a winner. One piece feeds 2-3 people. Excellent server.

The food was delicious and very prompt! Wow! I have never had a bad meal here. I have tried 4 different items from the menu and all were very good. I highly recommend it to you.

My wife and I both have hearing problems and our waitress offered us seating out in the atrium, which was very quiet and saved the evening for us.

Chester's is our go to place in Rochester. Their food is fresh and delicious. We especially like the walleye. This trip we also went to happy hour. They had good selections in food and drinks plus good prices. We always look forward to dining at Chester's. Reservations are a good idea.

We celebrated my sister's birthday on 11/8/25 with you. Kevin was our outstanding server and we appreciated him so much. And as usual, the food was exceptional. Chester's is my go to place to take family, friends, and out of town guests. Well done! Don't change a thing!

Service and food were great. A bit on the expensive side for breakfast items but overall I believe it’s worth a try.

I Just put a bad review. Because i been coming for 10 or more yers to the rest. I think you change the supplier of the baby back ribs. Now they are big and thick meat. Before you can take out the meat of the bone with your hands and easy!!! It was like Houston's or phils restaurant and now is not. I think you have to adjust this..
