“I visited Spyhouse Coffee Roasters in Rochester on a quiet Sunday morning, and it instantly stood out as a refined, intentional space that takes coffee seriously. From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly ground beans and the clean, modern aesthetic created a calm and inviting atmosphere. The space is beautifully designed—minimalist yet warm, with large windows that flood the room with natural light, perfect for a slow morning or catching up on reading.

I ordered a single-origin pour-over and a croissant, and both exceeded expectations. The coffee was exceptionally well-brewed—bright, layered, and clearly sourced with care. The baristas were friendly but not overbearing; they knew their craft and were happy to explain the tasting notes. I also appreciated that they offered alternative milk options and had a thoughtful, small menu of pastries that paired well with their drinks.

What I loved most about Spyhouse was its balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s not just a place to grab a quick coffee—it invites you to stay, sip, and enjoy the experience. “Such friendly staff! My mom, 10-month-old daughter, and I were spending the weekend in Rochester on a little girls trip, and we wanted coffee. We read great reviews on MOKA and saw this the night before. Upon going through the drive thru (baby was asleep so this was ideal!), Erik was so warm and welcoming! I asked for suggestions and shared it was our first time here. He went above and beyond to make sure we got delicious coffee (and cookies - thank you!!) and some tips for what to see in town. The salted caramel iced coffee was incredible and like none other. I wish I was in Rochester more often to visit MOKA! Til next time - but stop here next time you are looking for a coffee!“
