“This was a quick brunch stop in between appointments. The breakfast sandwich was excellent and the matcha I ordered was great. There's a moderate amount of seating inside, making this a great spot to meet up with family or even hangout for a change of scenery.“

“This is my favorite Moka in town, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Emily is such a sweetheart. She makes my morning better.
I’m a fan of their hot Jamaican coffee. But if hot coffee is t your thing, no worries. They have iced coffee, hot tea (I recommend the apricot), smoothies and even hot chocolate for the littles or those just young at heart. Their Moka bites are simple and delicious too. They have a variety of cookies, muffins and scones. Something for everyone. Perfect way to start your day, or an afternoon pick me up.“

“I visited Spyhouse Coffee Roasters in Rochester on a quiet Sunday morning, and it instantly stood out as a refined, intentional space that takes coffee seriously. From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly ground beans and the clean, modern aesthetic created a calm and inviting atmosphere. The space is beautifully designed—minimalist yet warm, with large windows that flood the room with natural light, perfect for a slow morning or catching up on reading.

I ordered a single-origin pour-over and a croissant, and both exceeded expectations. The coffee was exceptionally well-brewed—bright, layered, and clearly sourced with care. The baristas were friendly but not overbearing; they knew their craft and were happy to explain the tasting notes. I also appreciated that they offered alternative milk options and had a thoughtful, small menu of pastries that paired well with their drinks.

What I loved most about Spyhouse was its balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s not just a place to grab a quick coffee—it invites you to stay, sip, and enjoy the experience. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just want a beautiful spot to unwind in Rochester, Spyhouse delivers both in quality and atmosphere. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.
Note: Tipping is important here, if you don't tip they don't serve you as a best customer.“
