Used to be our very favorite restaurant in town. The last two visits have been very disappointing. Poor service. The food isn’t the same. Not fresh. Had to go up to the bar and refill my water. The environment isn’t welcoming as it used to be. I don’t know what changed. Seems like a totally different restaurant now. I am not coming back again, and highly recommend against it.l

Delicious food. I tried sushi and beef burger. The family tried other dishes. Worth a try.

Crave Rochester has made strides in catering to vegetarian and vegan diners with its new separate vegetarian menu—a welcome and thoughtful addition. The vegan sushi was a standout, showcasing a creative approach to plant-based offerings. The vegan flatbreads were enjoyable, though they could benefit from a bit more boldness in flavor and texture to truly shine. The restaurant’s space is a major highlight—light, airy, and beautifully designed. It’s arguably the best-designed dining space in Rochester, which enhances the overall experience. The service was also attentive and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere. However, there’s still room for improvement when it comes to creative plant-based options. Additionally, one disappointing note was the asparagus, which seemed to be prepared in animal fat based on its smell and taste—a letdown for those expecting fully vegetarian dishes. Crave is moving in the right direction, and with a bit more attention to truly vegetarian preparation and bolder innovation, it has the potential to become a top spot for plant-based dining in the area. #Veganuary

Good drinks
What is this bull shit 4.95% surcharge??? The bartender had some crazy answer of “we are a corporate store and this is how we keep from raising prices…. Ah really.. so you try to hide the price increase in a surcharge… shame on you..
I bet a lot of customers screw the staff over this fee… so in the end, the staff gets screwed

Crave is an amazing place to dine out. The atmosphere is amazing especially the deck where you are immersed with the city. The service was not bad and could be improved upon. I had the Mediterranean chicken for my entree and I found it a bit disappointing. The meal was good and its presentation as well. However, I would have loved some sort of acidity to brighten up the rest of the meal. Part of the reason why I’m not completely thrilled with the service is I was trying to get my waiter’s attention to ask if they would have a lemon I could squeeze over my meal but couldn’t get their attention.

We had breakfast there yesterday. Adjacent to Hotel Indigo. Great food. Good value. Jenny was an excellent waitress in every respect. Crave breakfast downtown. Don't miss it. We will go back.

Waited 10 or 15 mins after seated to be greeted. They were out of steak. Their old fashioned is bourbon and water with a garnish.

I have been to the Crave in the Twin Cities many times. I was never disappointed there, and I haven't been disappointed here either after 5 visits so far. A great and needed addition to the Rochester's dining scene. Thank you for coming to our city. If you are staying at Kahler and can't make it here, there are great restaurants also right in your hotel.

The service and ambience was good. The staff were especially kind. The vegetarian/vegan dish I recommend here is the flatbread.
