The waitress was very kind. The atmosphere was wonderful. Prices are rather expensive. The drinks were okay, Not much alcohol and the glasses are very small. The only thing that I was very disturbed about was the charge of three dollars for ice in a shot of scotch.

I was sorely disappointed in my visit to Crave and feel their quality has significantly gone down from when I first visited a few years ago. When asked if they had Dr. Pepper, they stated they don't serve name brand sodas and have Dr. Better. For a place of this caliber, you would think they would serve name brand sodas. Our meals were pretty underwhelming. I had a sushi roll and my partner had the lobster Mac and cheese. Our meal was $120 with no drinks, splitting two appetizers between two other couples and a piece of chocolate cake. Definitely not worth the price anymore and would prefer to spend my money elsewhere in Rochester.

We loved the atmosphere / excellent service. They had one menu that included typical options, a gluten free page, and a vegetarian page. As other reviewers noted- I wished they had options both gluten free and vegetarian. Food was tasty and portioned smaller. My meal had more rice than vegetables; for the cost of upper $20 , I'd hoped for more vegetables. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-03

I highly recommend Crave restaurant! It was recommended by friends, and we left extremely satisfied. The waitress was very polite and attentive. I asked for a low-sugar beverage, and she accommodated my request effortlessly. We ordered dessert, main courses, and coffee—all were fresh and well-cooked. I would definitely recommend it, and I would go again.

A high end Perkins with a cool look and friendly severs, except Perkins doesn't serve food cold. Easter brunch was a complete disappointment. Arrived about 15min early for a reservation and still had to wait despite open tables and no big rush afterward. $45 per person for so-so cold food sitting in chafing dishes with empty Sterno cans underneath. My kids told me that my prime rib was way better than what was served, No cups for the au jus; you just had to ladle it onto your plate so it could soak into your French toast and salmon. 20% mandatory MINIMUM "gratuity" baked into the bill (and you are welcome to add more... for an already overpriced buffet where you do most of the bussing yourself). Hey Crave, t isn't a "gratuity" if I have no control over the expression of my gratitude.

Had dinner there yesterday. The atmosphere is great. The drinks, truffle fries, and servers were very good. My chopped salad was way overpriced for what is was and some of the lettuce was wilted. My companion's calamari made her feel nauseous and we noticed that one of the lemon slices had mold on it. I told the server that her tip won't be affected, but pointed out the problems. She was very sweet and offered the kitchen to make new dishes, but we just wanted to leave. I'm not sure why I took the leftover salad home. I think I just felt so guilty for the expensive salad. I'll be throwing it away. So the food was unacceptable even at a lower price, but made worse for how much it cost us.

I visited Crave for breakfast. The bartender was my server and she was attentive, prompt and helpful. The morning ambiance was bright and cheerful, as I was seated in a booth at the window. The premises looked clean and well tended. I don't recall the item's name on the menu but it was a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with fried egg, bacon, cheese and avocado. The side was cheesy hash browns. The food was hot, perfectly presented and very tasty. My coffee cup was kept filled and the coffee was hot and respectable (sorry, I'm kinda a coffee snob). Overall, a very nice restaurant and I will definitely return during my stay in Rochester, especially since there are more breakfast items of which I want to partake!

Enjoy the delicious lunch with a beautiful view. I had chicken stirfry, lots of fresh vegetables and tender chicken. My husband had the ribeye cooked medium as requested with delicious hollandaise sauce , served asparagus and fries. Our waitress was delightful.

Worst CRAVE experience ever. We've visited numerous CRAVE locations in the Twin Cities area, never have we had a bad experience until today at our first time visiting this location. The waiter, Jay S. was awful to say the least. My wife's water glass was dirty, when she requested a new one it never came. We reminded him but he never replaced it, finally bringing the sparkling water we had ordered for our daughter. When my wife's tuna Poke bowl came out she immediately noticed the fish had a bad odor. We eat sushi often and are familiar with how fresh tuna should smell. Upon informing the waiter, he takes the plate away. Then, to my disbelief, he brings the plate back out to tell us that the fish just came in today and should be fine. Instead of apologizing (which he didn't do until after we had paid) he chose to argue whether or not she wanted to eat food that smelled. Given how unhappy we were with both the food and service, we decided to leave no gratuity. This is when it gets even crazier. After we exited the restaraunt, Jay follows us out and confronts not me but my wife. He informs her that gratuity was not included to which she informed him of why he did not receive a tip. Rarely have we ever felt the need to leave a 0 tip, NEVER have I seen someone chase after a customer to complain instead of apologizing.Spoke with the manager after waiting for Jay to plead his case to him before sending him over. The manager did apologize for his actions but did not offer anything to try and make it right. He only was concerned that we give them another shot. No thanks.
