Excellent custom service, The lady at the register explained every food item to me. I bought fresh baked bread and some sweets there. Very pleased with the service.

Don Panchos made a lovely tres leches cake for our October 2025 wedding! My husband LOVES tres leches cake, and they were very easy to work with - easy to order for a specific date and easy to pick up. We would recommend and would order a cake from them again!

Great variety of baked goods at a good price. I bought a large box of a variety of donuts and cookies for the office and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Don Pancho’s Bakery is honestly one of my favorite spots near St. Mary’s. It’s really easy to find- right around the corner from Fresh Thyme, and there’s parking right up by the door.

The second you walk in, it smells amazing and everyone is super welcoming. You just grab a basket and some tongs from the front counter and try not to get carried away, because everything looks so good.

The first time I went, I got a tres leches cake from the cold case and an Americano—both were incredible. The cake was rich and moist, not too sweet, and the coffee was smooth and strong. The only thing I struggled with is that nothing’s labeled, so you kinda have to guess what things are if you're not familiar with the food, but honestly that’s part of the fun.

Next time we came through town, we couldn’t decide what to pick so we didn’t even try—we just filled a basket with a mix of everything and made a little tasting buffet at home. Every pastry tasted fresh and homemade, you can really tell they care about what they’re making. My son even said, “these don’t taste like regular desserts,” and he’s right—they’re not overly sugary, just really well balanced, authentic, and delicious.

We’re already planning another trip to try more. Everything about this place just feels warm and genuine and I'm obsessed with the budín de pan and the flan! Solid 5/5 from us.

I got spoiled with delicious pastries while in Spain and this is the closest thing I’ve found in Midwest America. Everything we bought was incredible and reasonably priced. The lady at the register was friendly and the whole process was quite easy. We will be back every time we’re in Rochester.

Treats were delicious and service was fine. Unfortunately, there’s nowhere to sit inside. Outside is why this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ review. In general, it was filthy, which is really sad for such a new place. When the outside of the store is dirty—especially at a restaurant or bakery—it makes me question the cleanliness of the inside. Rochester is an uncharacteristically clean city, but not Don Panchos.

What an amazing Mexican bakery. There are so many freshly paint items in this bakery. I remember visiting this place when it was a coffee bar. It’s super cool. They have plenty of space but this one is mostly takeout. They have apathetic Mexican deserts like trans Asian and different type of Jesus. They have Mexican bread. Nothing is price here. Everything is very affordable. You see plenty of people walking by buying bags and bags of bread Condiments.

My honest feedback to staff the staff :
1. If you guys can put the name tag on what the item is with the price that will help people to decide what to get.
2. If your staff try to speak in English, it would help a lot or at least having somebody who can understand and communicate better.
3. The coffee bar needs somebody who can be fast. We waited for a 7 to 8 minutes without any other Customer in the line just good morning sweet home have our cappuccino.

But overall, this is a great place very affordable and amazing taste . Don’t worry about the parking there’s plenty of parking in this plaza..

It is a panaderia. We need more ethnic diversity and food here in Rochester and I appreciate what this bakery brings. It serves the neighborhood well.
