Small place, nice variety of menu choices, both Mexican and American. Everything made from scratch. Servers really hustle, aim to please. Prices are reasonable. Parking is a bit confusing --besides 2 labeled spaces, it's not entirely clear which spots in the lot are available for patrons.

I accidentally discovered this place. Im in love with it! The Filet Mignon Risotto is amazing! The seafood rice is one of my favorites as well. I am just really delighted to find this place. I recommend trying it. So delicious!

Stopped here on a whim for lunch and was blown away by the best tacos I've had in Rochester. If you are looking for food that is not just made, but crafted this is the place to go!

Smashburger was a surprise. Bigger and better than expected. Always concerned with more than one type of food but did Mexican and American both well.

Amazing food. Had the tacos and pasta. I was worried due to the extensive menu not sure if it would be good but it was excellent. Staff was very nice and patient. I can’t wait to go back.

The large horchata was excellent and very refreshing. I ordered the Torta Mariachi and really enjoyed the flavors, though it was a bit too salty for my taste. My husband had the Filet Mignon Risotto, which tasted great, but the portion of meat was very small. We also noticed that another Google reviewer posted a photo of the same dish with a much larger portion and better presentation, so we’re not sure if this is shrinkflation or just an inconsistency in plating, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. Overall, great flavors with some room for improvement in portion accuracy and seasoning balance.

The menu featured burgers, Italian dishes, and Mexican options, all at very reasonable prices. I don't understand why anyone goes to Taco John's down the street. This place offers significantly higher-quality food with a wider variety.

The risotto was perfectly cooked. Both of us ordered or filet mignon cooked medium. Mine was medium well and my guests was rare. The cut was not filet it was tough and difficult to cut even with a steak knife. Now! It tasted delicious, the seasoning was spot on and again I absolutely loved the risotto. The marsala, however had a heavy flour taste. I would recommend a slurry to thicken the sauce vs using a flour based rue to avoid that heavy taste. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Overall the atmosphere is wonderful. The service was kind and proper. Oh and I cannot forget to mention the provided chips and salsa at the beginning of the experience and that was to die for, I will go back and try some of the Mexican cuisine offered.

Traveling up from IA to the Twin Cities, we found this spot online and it was the BEST we have EVER had! I could taste the attention to detail in every bite. We will now FIND a reason to spend tourism dollars in Rochester just to have a reason to dine here again!
