First time there, and will go back. The waitress was friendly and helpful with our questions. The atmosphere was fantastic!
We loved it here! I love breweries that will do the mini pours; they're perfect for me. I had a mimosa flight, and it was delightful. I tried some sips of my husband's beers, and they were good as well. He got some kind of bao bun to snack on, and it was amazing. We sat outside on a beautiful day; would absolutely go back!
We got the birria tacos and the stroganoff. Both were 10/10! Complex and balanced flavors in both dishes, with flawless textural execution. I will definitely be back to try more of their offerings!
This place is incredible, go here every time I go to Rochester! Love the beer and the food. The sours and the foraging hopster are all next level and I’m sure everything else!
I visited Forager and the venue is welcoming with one of the best tucked away patios. The paintings on the building were beautiful. The guitarist performing outside was on point. I ordered the beef stroganoff and overall it was okay. I found it bland and it needed more flavor. The main flavor for me, was flour. I also had to ask for salt and pepper which was not provided. There was some dill on it which added some flair but not enough dill. I feel fresh parsley will bring this dish to life along with some extra garlic. The carrot cake cupcake was amazing. The light frosting, the carmel drizzel, and candied carrots all were flavorful!
Always great food and beer. One of the best places in Rochester!
Went for a drink with my wife mid-day on a Sunday (not lunch time, not dinner time - overall slow time for the brewery). Asked the hostess if we could sit outside. Was told that is reserved for dining customers. Ended up sitting at the bar. Asked if I could get a sample of a beer, was told they don't do that. The bartender seemed very distracted by his co-workers and was not interested in serving anyone seated at the bar and seemed frustrated that I didn't know the ins and outs of the beer menu. We ordered our two drinks a piece, paid our +/-$50 bill with tip and left. Surprised 4 beers at $50 is not profitable enough to allow a customer to sit outside on a slow Sunday and be provided some level of customer service at the bar.
Cool spot. Was in town on a training. Staff was friendly. Didn’t know they ran a smoker out back. Had some pork belly tacos. Delicious! Beer was also tasty.
If I was on death row, the piggy pie would be my last meal, and I would die happy
The food and coffee were delicious! The building is beautiful. It's a long drive but I look forward to going again. The whole experience was amazing. Extremely tasty vegan options!!

Had the Forager noodles and wasn’t disappointed! They had a few more options as well. Staff was friendly and prompt.
After a full day at the local clinic, stopping at the Forager was a good relief. Had the Double smash burger, hand cut fries, and a cup of the chicken wild rice soup. Washed it down with with a Belgian Dobble beer.

Absolutely incredible. We’re here often because of Mayo, so we’ve tried quite a few restaurants…but this is our new favorite! We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere that wasn’t too dark. Our server was super friendly and her attentiveness was impressive. Started with some butternut squash soup that wasn’t too sweet—nailed it! The Kutzky bowl was packed with flavor—definitely a right choice to add the smoked chicken. My wife got the Jackfruit Cuban that had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy with Dijon mustard that made the flavors soar! Can’t wait until our next time here!
