This is some of the best Japanese food I have found in the midwest. The sushi is excellent, and the portions of sashimi generous. However, there are other dishes for those wishing to stay away from the raw fish. They have a selection of soups, great tempura, and hibachi style plates. The service is super friendly and fast. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent installation catering to south Rochester.

Being on the south side, this is a great place for all commuters south of Rochester.

They have a full bar and , (new to me), an all you can eat sushi menu. Granted you won't have access to every roll they offer but it actually includes specialty rolls and even appetizers like everyone's favorite gyoza.

I found myself opting for the Hibachi menu, since it has a flavor profile worth exploring with a glass of Pinot Grigo.

Next time id like to explore the Terryaki menu profiles and wine pairing possibilities.

They have a few dining booths that appear to host parties of up to 6 and im sure they can host a larger party with arrangements made.

Sushi wasn’t bad, wasn’t great either. The menu doesn’t have anything really cool on it. Absolutely not worth the price.

Honestly very strange to be in a very lice looking Asian style restaurant listening to country music.

Not worth the price. And the manager not there at 8:30 on a Wednesday evening. No wonder the food sucks. Find another Japanese restaurant that actually cares about the food they serve. It isn't here.

Nice midweek dinner. We had seafood noodle soup with plenty of nicely done scallops and chicken katsu with green tea and Pinot noir. Shrimp was a tad overdone in the soup but looked great. Attentive service. It was busy but not too busy.

Management and staff have no idea what they are doing. We asked before we sat down if they can accommodate medical dietary restrictions and then we were they cant.

Service was friendly and quick. I came in a little after 6pm, was seated immediately, and ordered a very reasonably priced cocktail; it was at my table in less than 3 minutes. The food was equally quick to arrive! I had Miso soup, seaweed salad, gyoza, and a few orders of sashimi; all of it arrived promptly and in the correct order. The sashimi was quite fresh (salmon, yellowtail, and red snapper), and I was impressed with the quality of everything I ate. I'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff, i was able to have my soup served while I waited for my take out order. Food was prepared fairly quickly. Chicken was a little tough other than that. It tasted great.

This is the worst tempura and miso soup I have ever had and they do NOT serve it with Japanese rice. My whole family was disgusted. The miso soup was inedible, very watery. The sushi in the enormous bento box was warm and mainly avocado with eel sauce. The ika and shrimp tempura were seemingly not made in house, and breaded, the vegetable tempura had a very thick greasy batter but did appear to be made in house. If you want actual Japanese food you will be disappointed with the kitchen dishes from this restaurant.

Very disgusting, absolutely not authentic, and left me feeling gross.

I had the all you can eat sushi, had different types of plates, and most were good, but the tempura options didn't set well with me. The family ordered different options, and they liked it but felt like it was still missing something. Also the service did seem to take a little long. At first, I thought it was because we were waiting for someone, but then it was like that throughout the whole visit, even after asking for the check.
