Small and quiet, the food was excellent and you got what you paid for. The employees were very friendly. They brought different sauces for you to try upon request. We had the chicken nachos, they were amazing. I had 3 ribs with slaw and fries, the smoke was perfect on the ribs. It is just off Broadway, difficult to get out at times.

Terrible service. The waitress didn't even know the menu when asked about multiple items. Gave hot sauce instead of ketchup to my little niece who has a soy allergy. Was not happy with the nachos, and she did not want to remove them from the bill. Failed to check on us multiples times. When asked about removing the nachos from the ticket, she refused with a bad attitude. Not even an apology was given. The least you can do is apologize if your going to be a shitty waitress. And you should probably have some more customer service experience if you're going to work in a restaurant as a waitress. Poor excuse for a BBQ restaurant.

Was there yesterday Sept. 16th for lunch and had the the dinner combo ribs, beef brisket,beans, potato salad. My son had the same. The bread was soggy,the meat was completely over smoked...ive there before but my sons 1st and he loves bbq and it was NOT a good lunch for $60. wasted.

My daughter’s wedding was catered by John Hardy’s in July. I could not say enough great things about the communication to the delicious food they brought. We have been regulars for years to the restaurant, so we knew it was going to be great. We had a large wedding and they handled like pros. We felt the price was good and everyone loved it. Thanks for adding to already great day!!

Everything needs more flavor. Add some seasoning!!!! Added salt to the fried potatoes the sweet potatoes tots, black eyed peas and the pulled pork just to try to finish. I hope Rochester has better BBQ
