Little Hispanic spot that served breakfast. Also a quick walk from the hotel, and about the only place that served breakfast in the area. Order at the counter and seat yourself. It was a one man show when we arrived, cook cashier, server all by the same person. She got the avocado toast, and I the huevos rancheros. Absolutely solid Mexican food. You're going to pay the premium price for being across the street from the hospital. But if you need some delicious food that's, well, across the street from the hospital, check it out. They make their own salsas which are amazing. Really good food, nice staff. A+!
I stopped in today around 1 pm for lunch. I ordered the taco plate and ordered the Birria tacos. It came with three tacos, beans, and rice. The tacos were made with the proper meat cut, but not birria tacos. There was little to no flavor in the meat. The meat was not cooked in a Birria consome, which makes Birria tacos, Birria tacos. The rice and beans were delicious. The service was excellent! I would go there again, but I would try something different.
