Wonderful experience. Food was brought to the table fast and was great! The service was very good. Pricing was what one would expect in today's economy. Even the owner came by the table a couple times to make sure we were happy. Highly recommend.

Never write reviews, especially negative ones, but felt the need to write this. My husband and I wanted to eat somewhere new and support a local business and decided on Los Jarritos. We went in on Saturday evening and were the only people dining in the restaurant. We both ordered meals with barbacoa and our meals came after about 20 minutes. We didn’t inspect our food as we didn’t feel the need. While we were eating, I noticed one of the kitchen staff and the waiter were laughing and staring at us from afar, making me feel super uncomfortable. They also were pacing the restaurant (not subtly) to look at us eating our food. I looked down at my food and realized we both were served tongue (lengua). When the waiter finally came back around to ask us “if everything was okay” I informed him that I knew it was tongue as I had ate tongue tacos previously. He acted as if he did not realize and stated he needed to talk to the kitchen staff. He didn’t come back for at least 10 minutes and blamed the kitchen staff for giving us tongue even though we did not order it. He clearly knew they gave us the wrong food on purpose but seemed embarrassed they got caught. Although he took it off the check, he took our plates and did not offer us the meal we originally requested. Extremely unprofessional to knowingly give paying customers the wrong food. Will not be returning.

Great food , English is harder for some to understand but overall food was great for party of 3. They were out of chata and queso which was only reason for no 5 stars . Even had mellow yellow and root beer !

First time here and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the place is super clean and nicely decorated, food was good, I wasn't a fan of the pork maybe it just wasn't was I was expecting or used to do will go with steak next time and the salsa was too watery for my liking but all in all the food was good, service was good too very friendly server but we were the only table so hard to tell if they were busier what it would be like but I really liked how clean and nice it looked so will be back!

Place was nice but, lacking in all other aspects. Food was over priced and tasteless for Mexican food. Service was mediocre and staff come on as rude. You have to ask for service to get some. Service does come alive but, only when it came to tell you that they will be charging $15 to view the fight(Canelo).
Ordered online and when I got there they didn't have my order. He said if I want to reorder I can but I have to pay it here. I said that's fine but what about this order I ordered online. How am I gonna get a refund back?? Now I'm gonna have to call my bank n get a refund. Don't bother ordering online. Best to go there n ordered. For them to have a online order . It sucks.. won't be going there at all. My first n last

I found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Rochester. I live in town and I've eaten at almost all of them. It might be a little more expensive but it is fresh ingredients and it was very flavorful. You also get alot of food. I had their chicken enchiladas. I havent found an enchilada I liked since Carlos O'Kelly closed. Just add the Queso sauce to it, and it is comparable to Carlos O Kelly's. The salsas were fresh and flavorful. I could see it might be a problem if they get busy and dont have a lot of staff for service. But I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. It is so beautifully decorated that you feel like you are on vacation in Mexico.
