Beautiful Restaurant with wonderful ambience and very talented chefs and great service. We tried Turkish and Parisian dishes and everyone kept commenting on how delicious it was. I had a nice Cream Ale from Bauhaus Brew Labs in Minneapolis, which was nice to try local beers while we're here from Arizona. If I lived here or Minneapolis I would come back to try the other varieties of dishes.
We discovered Lumi when we found out the restaurant we intended to go to was closed on a Sunday evening. It was a pleasant surprise with a nice twist on Turkish cuisine. The wait staff were good. We ate outside on a pleasant evening. Will definitely return.
With a more focused menu, Lumi could likely reach 5 stars; however, the owners have decided to attempt no fewer than 6 cuisines (why is there Indian, Mediterranean, American, and Italian food on one menu???) and unfortunately all of them are frustratingly mediocre. My advice to the chef is to choose a lane and stay in it.
