Have been to Rochester many times. Tried to come here last time I was here but went down stairs by accident (good but different). I went a little after lunch this time. Staff was great. I wanted to sit back, have a bloody mary and have a bite to eat.I was able to do this. I never review because I am lazy but I had to this time. Ate fish tacos and they were amazing. Sometimes I go to the "greatest" steak places but i need to redefine my searches after this . This was relaxing, great food and drink and i felt so comfortable. waitress so sweet ! Price was so reasonable

Slow service, mushy bun, way over salted burger with unmelted cheese. Not impressed. The popcorn was the best part.

The burger was great. Good meat and seasoned well. It had 2 slices of good thick sliced bacon. The onion rings that I had with it is what I was most impressed with. You could tell that they had been freshly prepared for dinner. Very light batter and fried to perfection. The server was attentive and she knew the menu well. It was a very good experience. Pictures of other items ordered at the table on her a well.

Very attentive staff. The food is very delicious and you get quite a bit of food for the prices you pay. Highly recommended. Fries have a great seasoning on them. You can customize your burgers, the avacado is fresh, they have the long sliced pickles and a great atmosphere. Top notch!!!

Totally awesome burgers and fries. They were voted best burger in 2021 and my wife and wanted to cast our ballot for 2022 given we were in town for the day. Great engaging staff and the kitchen has a gift for turning orders quickly and no, it is not just another burger....it is a great burger!!!!

We wanted to try a local restaurant while in Rochester. I had been fasting for 2 days and wanted a good Burger. The burger was great. Good meat and seasoned well. It had 2 slices of good thick sliced bacon. The onion rings that I had with it is what I was most impressed with. You could tell that they had been freshly prepared for dinner. Newts is pretty good. Seems like they’ve been able to hold down that best burger spot in the best of for awhile. The burgers were good but nothing to write home about and at $15 plus per burger with fry I actually expected a little more. They bring a big bowl of popcorn once your seated which I thought a bit odd for a burger joint. They had a large bar with booths and tables to choose to dine from. Many TVs to view the sporting events of the moment. Our server was fantastic on this Sunday late afternoon visit. He was about as good as we’ve had in a long time. But Newts should watch their back as I think some other burger joints are on their heels for that Best Of spot!

Food is good at Newts in my opinion nothing special. It's typical bar food. Burgers fries beers. They have a couple unique burger options but I prefer Kings any day over Newts. That being said I still frequent here a lot because you can never go wrong with a burger and fries. Depending on what location you go to the help is lacking a little but over all I give it 4 stars and will continue to take my family here for burgers time to time

A little disappointed with this place. Food was mediocre at best. Nothing special about the burgers in any way and way overly sauced. Staff was nice however. Highlight was the cheese curd appetizer. Also had a funky smell I'm the building, felt a little dirty.
