Our plans for a late dinner and beers fell apart. One of our group called and asked if Newt's (South) could accommodate a group of our size that late on a Tuesday. We arrived to a waiting table with waters & popcorn. Our server, Layne, was quick taking our drink and food orders. The food was amazing, hot, and fast. Thank you for saving our "afters" tonight. We will be back!

The Express part is no joke. So long as you're ordering a burger, they are insanely fast. I heard my burger hit the counter before I managed to get the straw through the lid of my drink, and that's no exaggeration. And despite being so fast, every bite was delicious.

The chicken strips are amazing!! When I bit into one of the chicken strips I was surprised by how delicious they were. Not greasy, super tender, great beer batter! I also think the staff at this location are incredible. They work so hard and so efficiently! Their teamwork is truly impressive! thank you!

I had never eaten at Newts before. I ordered the California Burger tomato lettuce and cheese. That's exactly what it was, minus the California. It was a hamburger with tomato lettuce and cheese.

It’s a simplified menu, compared to the other Newt’s locations. No alcohol or free popcorn, but the atmosphere is cozy and service is prompt at the counter where you get your meal. Located in the skyway is also a plus.

Cool place off the beaten path. Never knew it existed. Faster than fast food and way better tasting. Not saying fast food isn't great but it's more fast wholesome food. Less expensive too.

We had a good time at Newt’s. The popcorn they start you off with was tasty popcorn. We had burgers, and there are a variety to choose from and they were very tasty. A nice casual restaurant!

They were slammed by a couple of baseball teams so it was busy. We were seated immediatley which was a surprise. But a bigger surprise awaited us, Shortly after being seated the person serving our table approached our table with popcorn, explained how busy they were, and apologized for any delays ahead of time. Not only were there no delays, but her customer service and timing left us well served, lacking nothing, and there were no excessive wait time. Service was the best I have ever experienced! And the burgers? Instead of having to limt our choice to only 1 of Newts delicious hamburger adventures we selected a Slider Sampler which allowed us to sample up to 3 different burgers. What a great idea!

My mom and I got burgers that were delicious and well made with perfectly seasoned and hot fries. The workers were really efficient and made us welcome. Highly recommended. Will come again if I’m in Rochester.
