Wayyyy better than our experience at the South location (see old review pic 🤢). There were only a few servers on when the rush happened. Kitchen, bar, and wait staff did an amazing job. Will visit again.
Pretty typical sports-bar chain. The service was actually very good, especially since our waitress seemed to be handling most of the tables. She was still friendly, quick with deliveries and requests. Our chicken sandwich was pretty tasty and the beer was cold. But the prices seemed a little high for this kind of place. Overall, no major complaints, but nothing to make me want to take a trip back either.
Our plans for a late dinner and beers fell apart. One of our group called and asked if Newt's (South) could accommodate a group of our size that late on a Tuesday. We arrived to a waiting table with waters & popcorn. Our server, Layne, was quick taking our drink and food orders. The food was amazing, hot, and fast. Thank you for saving our "afters" tonight. We will be back!
