They made us vegan Pho. We got fried tofu instead of chicken with veggie broth. We got Pad Thai with fried tofu and no egg. Both were delicious! They were friendly and helpful. Thank you. Brian

Like other reviews have mentioned, the service is noticeably poor. I dined in alone and had to flag down waiters for basic requests like water. They checked in on people that came in as a group but never checked in on me. Didn't say anything to me as I was paying at the front either which I found a bit off putting. Food/price is alright given that there are very few viet places around Rochester

I had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered the combo fried rice with kimchi and added shrimp, but my food didn’t have a single shrimp in it—even though I paid $27 for the dish. I don’t mind paying good money for food (I do it regularly), but I expect to actually get what I ordered.
When I called to explain the issue, the server immediately got an attitude instead of trying to resolve the problem. I really don’t like the customer service here, and I’m not the only one who feels this way—many people have said Pho Chau’s staff come across as rude and unprofessional. They walk around with an attitude as if they have something against certain people, which makes the experience even worse.
Unfortunately, they’ve lost a good customer who was willing to spend money here regularly.

The food was just okay—not memorable. The bigger issue is the environment around the place. A man was standing right out front smoking and even blew smoke toward little kids. It felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Definitely not the kind of atmosphere I want for a family outing.

Great food and service. They also have an extensive drink menu with options like Italian sodas, various flavored teas, Thai tea, etc. It's consistently good! Pho and chicken egg rolls are our go-to.
I’ve been going to Pho Chau since high school, back when they were near John Marshall. Their new location off Broadway is even better, and the menu is just as amazing. The two women who run the restaurant are always on point — friendly, fast, and welcoming. I love the pho and iced green tea with strawberry, but sometimes I switch it up with the rice and chicken, which is also delicious. A go-to spot I’ll always come back to!
