Always a good experience. Don't let the strip mall location fool you - this place delivers on some of the best food & service in Rochester.

We've traveled extensively, and consider ourselves farm to table foodies. Prescotts is one of the best restaurants we've ever found. Consistently great, from the homemade breads to the freshest veggies, to the wonderful sauces, it is absolutely outstanding. Today's highlights were the hunter's sauce on pork medallions, the pear salad, the snapper, and the heavenly mountain berry pie. Rochester is blessed!

This is perhaps my favorite restaurant in Rochester. It always hits the mark, whether a nice dinner with wife, entire family, or friends. This time, I had the most flavorful NY strip I have had in a long time. My wife love desserts, and there are always so many to choose from. They have a nice wine selection. The restaurant feels like a neighborhood place, and I like it.

Terrific food and wonderful service. Can’t believe we’d never tried this place before. Great selection of food and very fresh ingredients. Creamy Chicken Basil was delicious out as were the roasted beets. Can’t wait to return and try more of the menu! Our server (Sophia?) was super helpful and attentive. Lots of dessert choices if you like to partake.

Loved the lamb again! The schnitzel was great and we brought some leftovers home. Enjoyed the carrot cake and pumpkin cheesecake too. Jessica's service was fantastic as always.

Prescott’s was a treat after eating at restaurants the last few days whose menus all seemed the same. All the vegetables served are from the restaurant’s garden and you could tell. No bag lettuce here. The side salad had lettuce & tomatoes from the garden. The lettuce was very tender& perfectly dressed. The tomato basil soup had tomatoes from the garden. My husband had pork schnitzel and I had grilled walleye, both of which were tasty. The best thing, though was the side dish of garlicky pasta with fresh from the garden peas, asparagus & zucchini. I’m not one to usually rave about vegetables, but that pasta was good! Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable & very invested in the restaurant. The hostess who is also the Gardner & baker was very friendly. She & her husband, the chef, own the restaurant. It’s very obvious this is not a chain, rather a local restaurant about which they care very much.

I had the lamb again and it was excellent. I love the marinade Chef uses. Our server, Jessica was great, as always. My husband had the garden vegetable ioulle and his dish was stuffed with a wide variety of veggies.

Such a special family run restaurant with an incredibly trained chef who's manager wife grew the tomatoes in our salads! A wonderful meal, lovely conversation with them and a gem that we will return to.

This place is a hidden gem right in Rochester! The service, the food and the dessert are all outstanding. The reviews are all spot on. Love the concept of using stuff out of the chefs garden. The fresh broccoli was so good! Nothing beats eating right out of the garden!

Only complaint is that we did not realize that they close at 8. We love to enjoy our dining experience and were a little rushed as they closed. We left around 8:15 p.m. The Walleye was exceptionally cooked and the wine is priced right. The dessert menu is mind blowing. We had a chocolate dish that was fantastic.

We had a leisurely meal with top service and fantastic food. We really appreciated the local veggies — in our heirloom tomato caprese appetizer to the rice pilaf loaded with al dente zucchini, carrots, green beans, yellow beans, and snap peas. The lemon mousse pie was another highlight, although it was very difficult to select a dessert from the dozen choices offered.

I am grateful to have discovered this restaurant. The atmosphere is basic but the service and chef presentation delighted the tasting palette. Excellent beer and wine choices. The regular guest’s definitely know the experience. The chef is spot on for anyone who knows good food. I won’t elaborate because the educated staff will do it justice. Rochester’s best dining secret hidden in a strip mall! Great reviews!!!
