Red Cow Rochester

Mistake to get pick up here. We’ve never had as such pick up problems at any Red Cow or Red Rabbit location. The food was clearly done earlier than anticipated for the pickup and sat (I arrived on minute 6 of the pick up window). Maybe that wouldn’t have been a big deal, but everything was so overdone- the sliders had the texture (and color) of hockey pucks, the melted shakes were only filled to just above the halfway point in the cup, and the paid utensils were not included. Had I been physically in the restaurant, I could have worked on some of these mistakes with the staff. Other locations have a better pick up situation. Lesson learned.

Very good lunch. I had the Ahi shareable and French onion soup. Both were very good. There was so much cheese on the soup it was almost hard to eat.

My daughter had grilled cheese and tomato soup. She said that was good also.

Our server was great, I wish I would have his name.

There were 2 groups of parents and kids in there. The kids and the parents sat at separate tables so as you can image no supervision and extremely loud and annoying. Not the restaurants fault at all.

Pricey for lunch, $80 with tip for 2 people. No alcohol either.

Great place for date night.Our food was cooked to perfection. The service was very nice and attentive. Enjoyed our meal very much.

Food is usually pretty good. Really disappointed with the limited menu at this location. The locations in the twin cities have much more selection and generally more pleasant staff.

I wanted to give flying colors but we had a double burger and sweet potato fries and we both ended up with food poisoning! There's clearly something wrong with Beef or fries.

Highly recommend the birria burger. Do not recommend the Tennessee chicken sandwich. Baja bowl is less than average. Good service and nice overall vibes.

I have been to Red Cow several times. Hamburgers are awesome. But yesterday was Sunday 10/13/24.
I stopped in for shake & then this happened. When they made the shake the cup had a defect. So this Mgr lady blonde hair she's supposed to be a mgr? She walks up to the guys making my shake. She saw something wasn't right. She comes over and grabs my shake. Then grabbed a spoon and took off the whip cream throws in the garbage can. I'm sitting in the togo station so I see everything. She then pours my shake in another cup and tells the server it's fine. He went to give it to me I said no thank you. He then said he would make me a new one cause he was so embarrassed by what she did. I could see it on his face he apologized for her behavior & gave me a fresh shake. This mgr needs to be written up for sure. Such a great restaurant having this go on makes it look real bad. Yes I will still go back for sure. But if I see she's working I will pass. This shouldn't be allowed her behavior towards customers & her staff.

Service was just ok. Things were slow once we ordered, we wanted time to order. The disappointing part was we had to ask for our bill and our waiter said he would get it. We had two separate bills and I had cash laying out and my dinner partner had her credit card on the table. Someone who had never been to her table came by took her credit card and said I’ll be back with your your statement. We had never received a bill. He was very rude. He had no name tag on. I didn’t know him from Adam and was highly offended when we said no back and bring us our checks. For that point alone I don’t believe I would ever eat in your restaurant again. I felt as if we were compromised on our security. It was just weird really really weird.

Very delicious food! My Mom and I ate here a few months ago when we were in town and liked it enough to return today. We ordered two different burgers and they mentioned we were going to share and they split the burgers for us in the kitchen which was great! The service was a little slow but the server was very friendly.

Parking: We couldn’t figure out where to park so ended up walking from our hotel.

The music was chosen by a 13-year-old fan of boy bands. The salads were so gritty my wife and I sent both of them back.

That said, the service was very friendly and professional and the atmosphere is great. The location is excellent if you are at the Mayo Clinic or St. Mary’s Hospital.

The kale salads were so gritty. It was like having salad on the beach.

As someone who has worked in the service industry for over 5 years, I am displeased to be writing this review. My friends, family and I have been coming to this establishment for almost a year as regulars. We have been nothing but pleased with the food and service from the employees thus far. As we were going to our favorite place to celebrate my birthday, we were kicked out as we were “over served.” As we were sitting at the bar with our favorite bartenders, the general manager of “4 months” kicked us out. As someone who has worked in prestigious restaurants, I can confidently say that we’re being nothing by classy. I am extremely dissatisfied with the general manager, and I am even more displeased that he drug the bartenders under the bus and blamed them.
