Well I didn't really get to evaluate my dinner since the restaurant closed early without telling me. My family drove and met us there only to discover they closed at 4pm when our reservation was at 6pm. Last time we make an effort to go to Red Lobster

Never got to eat there because no one attended to me; one worker walked out as I was walking in and said nothing. I stood there without as much as a hello from anybody for almost 10 minutes before the previous worker walked back in and past me without saying anything.
I left after that and ate Chinese from the food court next door.

This has always been one of our favorite places to eat, but the last two visits have been disappointing. We went for dinner tonight, it was about 6:30pm & not very busy.
We ordered drinks, then food. I selected the fish sandwich without the tartar sauce, or coleslaw on it. It come with a side of French fries and 2 hush puppies. I upgraded the side from the French fries to a salad with dressing on the side.
My salad came when the drinks arrived. It was fresh and crisp. My sandwich arrived but it was smothered in tartar sauce. I tried to scrape it off, but the fish was hot when they added it- and it was melted into it. The hush puppies were missing.
The server came back by to see how our first bites were. I told her I requested no sauce or anything on the sandwich. She just shrugged.
I never took a single bite of the sandwich, it wasn’t at all what I expected. When the meal was over, she offered me a box. I declined, explaining “all the tartar sauce”.
Never an apology or anything. She brought the bill and the sandwich was removed. I was okay to pay for the meal, I just wanted something without the tartar sauce.
It was my birthday dinner- We originally planned to order the Chocolate Wave cake. But the server didn’t even offer dessert. I was hungry, we left. My spouse enjoyed his food. We stopped at pasta restaurant near by to grab me something to eat for dinner- to carry out.
This whole meal was a let down and the staff just didn’t even care.

Went here for lunch and got sat rite away, hostess was very nice. So we looked at the menus to order an no server came to our table to serve the biscuts or to take our order for drinks. We sat there for over 15mins waiting for a server. We watched 3 other tables get seated an still no server. They got their biscuts an drinks but still no server to our table yet. We watched a family of 5 get seated, server came over gave them biscuts an told them he would be back. After that an all the servers walking by us an (we were no looking at our menus still.) So we decided to walk out. No server no drinks, nothing, just our menus an silverware! Extremely disappointed an even spoke with the manager an he told me it might have been due to our table having 5 people. Um ..no sir. Don't matter the table size, you still get a server an drinks. First time there too an will never go back. Thanks for the bad experience!

Do not bother ordering in Rocheter Mn. Cannot order through Red Lobster website. Employees will not take an order over the phone even though when you call they promt phone orders. THEY DIRECT YOU TO FIND YOUR OWN DELIVER. Do not even try and click order online, they will not take your order. How hard is it to take a credit card for $180 over the phone. The employees are lazy and do not care about service.

Update. Customer service contacted me after my review. Said they were sorry that their online orders were have problems. Sent a $50 gift card to say they were sorry. Thumbs up for taking action.

My dad wanted to stop for lunch after an appointment at Mayo Clinic. I'm dubious about Red Lobsters, and the Red Lobster in Rochester is a prime example of why this is.

To put it elegantly it reeked of rotten fish when you walked in. Perhaps the lobster tank. The hostess first sat us at a dirty table, but that's okay she moved us to a less dirty table.

The server was awesome. She was a little frazzled at times, but I am sure that's because she was the only server in the place. Luckily it was mostly empty so the rest of the staff, including a sup, could stand around.

I was here years ago, and even not expecting much it's gone totally downhill. Of all the places to eat in Rochester, or anywhere else, the dad lives for Texas Roadhouse and Red Lobster. If he hadn't done the buffet the day previous I would have had to suffer that. What can you do?

Great food as always. But prices seem to be going up and quantity goes down. But quality is still good.

After an epic day carving up the slopes at Afton Alps, we wrapped it all up with a Christmas feast that dreams are made of—at none other than Red Lobster! From the moment we walked in, the holiday spirit and mouthwatering aromas set the tone for what’s quickly becoming our favorite Christmas tradition.

The lobster, shrimp, and salmon? Absolute perfection—each bite was like a celebration of flavor. The roasted Brussels sprouts? A surprising highlight, bursting with savory, caramelized goodness. And let’s not forget the grand finale: a decadent chocolate martini crowned with brownie chunks—pure indulgence in a glass.
Our waitress was nothing short of amazing, delivering impeccable service with warmth and cheer. This was our second Christmas dining at Red Lobster, and with experiences like this, it’s safe to say we’re hooked. Here's to many more Christmases filled with seafood bliss and sweet memories!
