Some of the best (most expensive) tacos in Rochester hands down. Only problem is they're closed more often than they're open, so I can't really recommend.

Found multiple hairs in my food. Unsanitary and disgusting. This was the first and last time we’ll eat here.

Edited to respond to owner: this photo was taken yesterday, 2/16/25, while sitting in the restaurant. I ordered a breakfast taco, and the hairs were found in the cheese. The owner is claiming that this is "food he doesn't serve here" - I'm pretty sure anyone who has ever eaten here can confirm that shredded cheese is served here. I'm even more disgusted by the lack of accountability from the owner. I did not ask for a refund, nor do I want one. My sole purpose for leaving this review is to inform the public that this is not a sanitary or safe place to eat - and it will continue to be unsanitary and unsafe until the owner takes accountability.

Gross! The shrimp was either moldy or not cooked all the way through.

What a great place to foster a solid music scene in Rochester MN! Steve, Rosei, and the rest of the gang really do what they must to curate great music at this taco joint. This Saturday night was my 5th time performing there, and every time was a blast! Not only do they cater to local musicians, but they are a gem for touring acts like myself as well. If you want to meet other music nerds like myself, and do much more, I would highly recommend coming out to Taco Jed and immersing yourself in this incredible music scene!

My husband and I decided to stop in on a Sunday since they were open. We waited for 15 mins for someone to take our order. He looked at my Husband and I, and the women ahead of us. He knew we were waiting and continued to clean trays. Finally comes over, takes our order, that I had to repeat twice. My husband and I waited over 30 mins for our food. Many people who came in behind us were served first. I almost wanted my money back on wait time alone. I don't know what happened to this place. Post Covid lockdown, tacos are absolutely swimming in grease. I had to tilt mine while I ate it, and watched grease dripping out of the taco endlessly. This is the second time it has happened to us. There will not be a third. 25$ for four tacos swimming in grease, and terrible service.

I hate it because we used to love this place, and ate here often.

My wife and I recently joined another couple at this place and came away feeling satisfied with the overall experience. It was an early Saturday evening and not too busy and we decided to sit outdoors to enjoy the weather. Our server Christine was very polite and professional and checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. The owner Steve Dunn was also checking on customers and delivered part of our order himself! We ordered some of their homemade tortilla chips and sauces, something I highly recommend. I also ordered a shrimp taco and it was pretty good. As a bonus, we were able to enjoy live music while there - a good way to enjoy a late summer night near downtown Rochester!
