Great service. The food was very excellent. All three members of our party enjoyed what they order. Enjoyed the atmosphere. We found parking on the street but there was a nice parking ramp right there too if there was no street parking.

I ate here twice and very much enjoyed it. Service was excellent both times. My mom also enjoyed her meals and she is a picky piscatarian. They also arrange the tables so as to maximize distancing and there are plastic shields between tables to help also. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Great atmosphere and even better food. Smaller menu with not a ton of stuff to choose from, but everything tastes great! Very nice bar and the patio is great during the warm months!

Arrived without a reservation was seated glass of water brought right out and menus decided on a Sazerac to start well prepared and very tasty. At the barrel Burger with a side of mac and cheese wrapped up listening to music and enjoying another Sazerac. Hard-working staff... lots of outdoor dining if you're into that.

Outstanding, Gabby is amazing. We want to take her home with us. I had the Bramble, amazing! I also enjoyed the pear and I don't remember salad with grilled chicken, so good. My husband enjoyed the Calimari and the fish tacos.

I met a couple of people here for a drink, though I don't drink alcohol. I was pleased that they made something special for me to enjoy anyway. There wasn't much I could eat, but we were not here for a meal, and I had eaten a snack beforehand, expecting that. My friends ordered something to share as an appetizer and said it was very good. I would give this five stars if they could make something simple for me from their fresh ingredients. I may not have asked the right way, though, so they might do that if you're more specific or ask a different person.
Half Barrel is a cozy spot in Rochester, I haven't been in a number of years, but I'm still coming back to write a 5-star review because I always loved coming here. Particularly around the holidays, this place was always so warm and inviting. They make great cocktails and the staff were always so nice! The food was always really good too, highly recommend!

We had Very Berry French Toast with scrambled eggs and real from the market sausage patty. Everything tasted just superb. Staff &Servers were excellent. Manager/Owner visited our booth adding a personal yet professional touch. Highly recommend this place for either breakfast or lunch.

This a MUST VISIT if you are in Rochester. Omg the spinach dip and fried flat bread, you MUST try it. The fries were ahhhhmazing and the salmon was perfectly cooked with the glaze that added a hint of sweet that was just enough to balance the salmon. The Effn A is the perfect fruity drink with an epic balance that sings and the old fashioned was VERY well done. Service was spot on, friendly, attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food.

The food is mostly burgers and other fried selections. It wasn't bad, but it felt more like the drinks were their specialty and why people choose to go here. If that's what you are looking for, there are a lot of good choices.
