The Tap House West End

The service was great, but the food was extremely greasy! I had the fish & chips, but never found the fish, it was 95% batter. Disappointing 😞

Highly recommend this restaurant. Their food is amazing. I often get the wraps. The portion size is awesome. Also, they have about 100 different beers to choose from. Never have seen so many!

Beautiful restaurant, great staff. The food not so much.I had the Gringo Taco. It was dry hamburger, lettuce cheese and sour cream. Was supposed to have Peco de gieyo was missing the main flavor component My sister had fish and chips. The breading very salty. The frys were very good.

Food is great, I wish they didn't change it up so much, I find something I love then it's gone but always find something else that's good too, the service is always awesome! Best breakfast in town and I'm not a breakfast person but it's always good when I go. Nice seating and nice atmosphere.

My 1st visit to this restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and decor. Our waiter was warm, friendly, and helpful. I ordered the Blueberry Mojito, which was tasty. For dinner, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, which was similar to a Philly cheese steak sandwich and tots, which was pretty good.
Since we were celebrating my birthday, I ordered the double chocolate cake. The portion was hugh. However, it was rather dry, plus I am not a big fan of dark chocolate. The dalop of whipped cream helped make it more palatable. Overall, I enjoyed myself. I would go there again, especially for the atmosphere and libations, and to try some of the other items from among the plethora of menu offerings. IMO, the food is a bit pricy. However, I don't dine out a lot, so this may just be the result of inflation. In any event, I do recommend that you check it out if only for the ambiance and libations. They also have a huge selection of beers. I guess that's one reason why "it's named "the TAP House." Well, 🤦🏾‍♀️Duh! Lol 😂

I don't normally get to this part of Rochester, but a recent shopping trip took us to the area. We were looking for a place to grab lunch and a drink, so we searched Google and saw this on the list. Really glad we did. We each had a delicious beer off their vast menu. We each had a separate entree and enjoyed them both. We liked it so much that we returned about 3 weeks later to get a couple flights and try some different food items. They have definitely earned a customer for life.

This place so far has been great to my spouse and I. I think there was only one time where we were seated and got absolutely no service but I think it was because of lack of servers or something. Either way, the last 4 or 5 times we've been, the wait has been short, the food has been hot and the drinks strong. So I've given 5 stars in all categories.

I recommend this location and I hope you'll give them a try 😊

After working Rochester all day we stopped by for beverages and a meal. The tap selection is ridiculous! It's amazing and extensive. Food selection was great with a little something for everyone. Our service was prompt, our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to eat and socialize.

I think the shrimp tacos shrimp can be improved. Consider a different type of shrimp and seasoning used. Maybe be a big difference just getting the shrimp right in a shrimp taco. Also had pork tacos. It was great.

This is a very cozy place to have a dinner with friends, a work party, or a date night. There's a fireplace, comfy booths, and a nice outdoor seating area. There are 100 tap beers to (try to) choose from! For food I had the mushroom and swiss burger. The bun was buttered a little heavily, but was still delicious. A side salad is $2 and totally worth it. They have appetizers, pizza, Mexican, burgers, wraps, little bit of everything. They also serve a fantastic breakfast on Sundays and you can get mimosa flights.

Ordered burgers, they looked great. One was all in burger with onion rings. Burger was very good, thick cut bacon and onion rings had an amazing crunch.
I had a burger that needed salt and was way too pink for me. Not at all what I expected, with NO PINK. I was out, yuck. The tomatoes were tiny Roma tomatoes that kept falling off, but still quite tasty. Bacon wasn’t crispy either, so I just skipped it. The fries were crispy, but zero salt. No salt at the table either. I waited 18 minutes for mustard, so didn’t want to push my luck on salt. I skipped eating the fries.
Staff are kind but slow.

We ended up coming here for Sunday brunch because of a long wait at another restaurant. There were only a few people in the restaurant. Our server was nice, but not too friendly, and the food was good, but not great.
