My family agrees that this would be a weekly staple if Tilda’s was close to our house in Maryland. Even my 3-year-old (who has an incredibly picky palate) ate a whole cheese pizza by himself.

We visited Tilda’s twice during our week visit to Rochester. You can tell that everything is made from scratch - the Caesar salad is TOP notch. The staff have been absolutely marvelous and the kitty robot is an added bonus. If there’s ever a reason to be in Rochester again, I will absolutely be coming back to Tilda’s.

Last night our salad was definitely old, the lettuce was rusty. What really upset us was that we were charged extra for additional salad dressing and a tablespoon of extra pizza sauce. The waitress was rude, said they are under new owners! Very unfortunate.

Good pizza, generous salads, good, friendly service. Drink refills usually arrive without asking. Always get a Mr. Meaty and split a half salad, so haven't explored most of the menu.

Parking: Plenty of parking in lot on Sunday when the restaurant in the basement is closed. Haven't been there on other nights. Street parking is free after 5 and on weekends.

The Destin Pizza easily was the most disgusting Pizza ever!!!
Despite the dough being fine it was covered in raw(!!!) garlic. I ate half a slice before I had to puke.

First time ever I tried pizza with goat cheese and blackberries. Cooking on the wood made it especially delicious.

Be sure to go in the correct door. We went down in the basement to a dark tavern. Bartender directed us up an elevator. Nice dining area. Open and light, lots of seating. Fast service and pizza ready in minutes. $23 for a 14-inch thin with pepperoni and mushrooms. Nice char and crunch on the crust, but dough a tad chewy. Small pepperonis, a bit oily, I prefer the larger discs myself. Fresh mushrooms are a plus. Wish they offered a ground beef option for those of us who tend to avoid pork but want a meat pizza. Sauce is tangy and flavorful. Light on the cheese. Verdict? A decent pizza, good service, a bit overpriced. Considering the pizza options for the area, it's better than any franchise by far, but some local pizzeria can give a run for their money.

Pizza was okay, slightly disappointing. Not enough sauce or cheese in my opinion. Might just be personal preference though. Good takeout service.

All the family got together for the first time in a few years so we had to take the cousins to Tilda's to experience the delicious pizza and the delivery robot.
