If you are looking for a Friday Fish fry check out Uncle John's! Best fish (seriously, so amazing) and salad bar in the Rochester area! The staff always makes you feel at home!
Another couple wanted to come here for the fish fry on Friday, February 21, 2025, so we were asked to go along. This would be our first time here. We arrived about 5:30PM to this non-descript place, not a lot for signage and it far off the beaten path located on a gravel road on the east side of Lake Zumbro. It is fairly new, because I had not heard of it before. Entering, this place was already hopping busy in the bar area, but the adjoining dining room was still fairly empty....
Outstanding Friday night special: fish fry, all you can eat. Filets were huge, longer than the plate (!), lightly battered, perfectly fried. [We'll be back for this!] Choice of sides, I took the cole slaw -- nicely dressed and perfectly seasoned with a light touch of sweetness and tang.
