This was the worst burger ever. Maybe if it was cooked all the way it may have been edible. Fries were nothing special and also not cooked completely. I would not recommend this place. Go to the store and buy their uncooked burgers and make them at home.

Do you want to exit the restaurant and give your order to grocery store employee that will mess it up? Do you enjoy going to a sit down restaurant without wait staff? You get to exit the restaurant to get your own refills out in the grocery store. You get to play seek an employee if you need anything. Do you want the first part of your order to arrive cold? If you do, then they have a bonus for you, when the half of your order that they forgot arrive later your food will be ice cold. Ok sarcasm over…. Rochester has too many other restaurants in town to bother this one.
First time here. I was surprised by my parents when they brought me here. 🥰 It is so good. I will be looking forward to coming here next time I'm in town. I shared the fish sandwich with my Mom. I would get it again. Fries are delicious.

This was our first time here. We came in through the outside door. There were no wait to be seated or seat yourself signs so we found a table and sat down. It was 6om on a Saturday. The bar was full but the dinning room was pretty empty, which is unusual for a restaurant in Rochester on a Saturday evening! As we waited, my granddaughter had to go to the restroom so we walked out into the Hy-Vee and used the restroom. On the way back we noticed an "order here" counter, no visible from the outside doors we entered through. We went out to order and guy taking our order admitted he didn't know anything about the menu as he was a Hy-Vee employee who was tald he had to work there because the restaurant was short staffed. We then had to go into the bar to order drinks because he couldn't do that out there. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a blackberry bourbon lemonade (from the menu) and was told by the bartender she didn't know how to make it and didn't have ingredients to make it. I then ordered a sangria and was told the same. Ended up with a beer. The bartender admitted that she was also from the grocery store, had never bartended before and just learned how to pour a good tap beer!! On a positive, the food was good! I felt bad for these employees being put in such a horrible position! They could have/ should have closed the restaurant if they were that short staffed. They were not busy and wouldn't have been losing our on much.
The last time we had dinner at this location was pre-pandemic. This used to be Hy-Vee Market Grille when we were last here in 2018. Back then, they had a full menu and full service. It really was not too bad. Fast forward to Sunday, October 1, 2023. My wife and I decided to dine here again. Little did we know that everything had changed. Now called Wahlburgers, though the interior has not changed and they still have a full bar. All else is different. This is like a fast food joint only with a full bar. No servers to wait on your table. You have to go outside the restaurant and into the grocery store and place your order at a kiosk. You have to get your own glass of water (or soda) at a nearby fountain area. Then you get a number to put on your table for them to bring your food out. If you want an alcohol drink, you have to place a separate order at the bar. It seemed everyone working here was new to the job and really didn't know what was going on. Half price appetizers, but only a select few and no one knew which ones. Happy hour (at 6PM) but no menu to tell what was half price. My wife had a salad, but they gave no dressing for it. I had the Wahlapeno Burger with Sweet Potato Tots. The burger was tiny and messy, the jalapenos were tasteless. Our food arrived but we had no utensils. Maybe we were supposed to pick them up ourselves? How were we supposed to know that? I would say with no table service and mediocre food, this place is way overpriced. We will not be back.
I think you could make the case it is the best value for happy hour in Rochester. This restaurant is attached to a newer Hy Vee, so there is a lot of free parking and it is easy to get to off of West Circle Drive. They have about a dozen tap beers and from 3 till 7 M - F all pints of tap beer are $3. The appetizer menu is half off at this time and all bottle beer is a dollar. They have some premium beers on tap and I thought the appetizer we had was very good. The server, Ben, was outstanding, friendly and efficient. We sat at the bar. The only downside of this place is that you have to place your food order at a kiosk if you choose to sit at the tables in the restaurant. They bring your food to you, but I personally dislike not having a server, if I am going to pay this much for a hamburger. We sat at the bar and our food, service, and beer was outstanding.
Went to eat lunch, food was ok just opened. Had to get a hold of server when we needed things, things missing from order or not right. Got our meal, asked for salt never got.
