Whistle Binkies On the Lake

I had promised a couple buddies a really good meal after helping me to winterize a cabin. When we got to Whistle Binkies the parking lot was packed. The hostess found us a table in only a couple of minutes. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time.
Along with our cocktails we started with an order of ahi tuna which was phenomenal.
Two of us ordered the bourbon ribeye and baked potato. Jim thought the ahi tuna was so good that he ordered the tuna as a meal.
The service, food and hospitality were all superb.
When we left, my buddies told me I had outdone myself when I had promised a good meal.
Two thumbs up and a rating of 10. I highly recommend Whistle Binkies.

We were staying down the street at a hotel and found this place. We ended up here 2 times this week. Wings were HUGE and delicious. Wallet nuggets were the special on night 2. YUMMM. If we come back up to Rochester, we'll for sure eat here again.

Great food. Ordering online check your orders. They get busy and might miss an item. But they fixed it. Great food for the Twins caravan. Best caravan experience.

Food is decent, so is service usually. Unenjoyably loud during Vikings games. Serious.

We stopped in for dinner after spending a few hours in Rochester. We were greeted once we decided on a table (outside to enjoy a beautiful fall evening). We ordered a burger with smoked Gouda with steak fries and the Irish stew. Both were so tasty. My only complaint was that the bun was not lightly toasted but cold like it was taken out of the fridge when plating.
The setting by the water was nice and our waiter, Rick, was friendly and efficient. It was a great way to end our trip to Rochester and I look forward to stopping in the next time we pass through town.

Excellent place to eat and drink. The only issue the 3 out of 6 of us had who ate there today was the Ruben sandwich need more sauerkraut. Plenty of meat. Good service. Two had shepapie and loved it. 1 had the BLT, and she said it was awesome.

Food is pretty good . Service is subpar, servers tend to be snappy with you and it’s normally very hot in there.

To call it a lake is a stretch. The place is great, though.

Take a look at your brisket and than watch a Chipotle commercial. Also the pan fried Walleye is better than the deep fried. Have been coming for two decades and will continue to visit—Love your service!?

Food was a big let down. My son got the brisket; it came out drier than beef jerky. My other son got the chicken pesto; The sauce was bland and the chicken was tough, almost as if it had been reheated in a microwave several times. My wife got the prime rib bites; the meat was flavorful and tender but her mashed potatoes and broccoli had spots that were ice cold. I got the chicken alfredo which was the same quality as the pesto pasta; bland sauce with dry, chewy chicken. Service was nice and friendly though. We sat outside so the view was pretty. Definitely will not have dinner here again but it's a nice place for drinks.

A bar with Coke and Pepsi!!! Went to watch some Monday night football. Had some pretty good basic chicken tenders and amazing battered fries. Place was not super busy, so got to eat and enjoy the game in peace. Awesome bartender.

We were so glad we stopped here. There are so many food choices and drink specials. Great atmosphere inside and outside on the patio next to the lake.
