Zen Fusion Hibachi & Lounge

The waiter had excellent hospitality, and she attended to us right away and checked on us at the appropriate, perfect times. I also absolutely loved using Zen fusions free selfie machine! The cook was so much fun to watch, He put on an excellent showz’, And cook the food very well. The food was excellent. 10/10 . That’s my favorite restaurant and I will definitely be going back! Thank you so much for the great night! Memories were definitely made. You guys made my mom’s birthday very special!

Came here with a team of 40+ & the service was great, every person we interacted with was so nice. The chefs on the hibachi were amazing & had us all entertained, our servers consistently checked on us & were amazing also. Our whole team enjoyed themselves & loved the food!

Takeout was great.

I got takeout, and the fillet hibachi was awesome. But it was also $55 😬

We went during lunch on a Saturday and the space was fairly empty. The sushi was great but the hibachi was very salty. The space is very cluttered with games and odd electronics which is unappealing.

We’ve had many of the sushi rolls here and they have all been amazing and during lunch they have a great deal on rolls also. We always make it a point to still get our hibachi from here.. it’s still the best place in town for it, flavor is amazing and people that work there are always very friendly and helpful. Last time we were there something small was forgotten in our to-go order and because I had to go back to work and couldn’t get back, they BROUGHT IT TO ME!! That is just another reason why we will continue to give our business here !!

The food here is phenomenal. Great atmosphere the hibachi chefs are a riot and Andy the master sushi chef is the best in town with over 20 years experience around the world. Highly recommend reservations if you’re doing hibachi cook show experience. Locally owned support them!!

Zen Fusion Hibachi was an absolute treat! It had been a while since my last visit, and I didn’t realize just how much I missed it. The food was beyond delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection right in front of us. The hostess was incredibly sweet and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. What made it even more special was that it was my daughter’s first hibachi experience, and it was truly memorable for us. She was mesmerized by the hibachi show, and seeing her excitement made the night even more unforgettable. A 10/10 experience—I’ll definitely be back and bringing more friends to enjoy it!

Disappointing Hibachi Experience – Overpriced for What You Get

We recently visited Zen Fusion Hibachi & Lounge in Rochester, MN, hoping for a great hibachi experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways.

The food itself was okay, but compared to other hibachi restaurants we've been to, it was definitely the worst. The biggest downside was the value for the price—the menu is priced significantly higher than similar hibachi places, yet you receive less. At most hibachi spots, you get a full meal including soup, salad, rice, noodles, and veggies along with your entrée. Here, you only get your meat, veggies, and a choice of either rice or noodles—no soup, no salad. For the price they charge, the portions and offerings just don’t justify the cost.

Overall, while the atmosphere was decent, the food quality and portion sizes didn't match the premium pricing. If you’re looking for a great hibachi experience, there are definitely better options elsewhere that offer more for your money.

We have had the pleasure of working with Zen Fusion for a while now, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their outstanding service and quality. The team is always professional and dedicated, making every experience a smooth and enjoyable one.

We brought the family here for the first time and were totally impressed by the delicious food and the fun entertaining chefs. We will definitely be back !! I highly recommend making reservations because it’s a busy place .
