I stopped at the Bookworm Cafe for the third time today. Each time I've gone, I've never been able to get a cinnamon roll, but today was the day I did! (I also got there at 8:30 am.) I was given two "smaller" ones, but they were large to me. While I didn't enjoy the rolls as much as I thought, I really do love this cafe. I got a french press full of coffee this morning, which was delicious. I've had a croissant sandwich and the bacon + cheese croissant...
Great place; really nice choices on the menu, real chef-prepared items (not boring chain restaurant food). Great happy hour in the afternoons. The avocado toast is awesome, as are the large artisan cookies! The cinnamon roll was just OK, but I am going to give it another chance since the frosting was SO good. Looking forward to trying many more menu choices!
I chose the croissant sandwich- pastry was so fresh and egg and bacon was hearty! My husband chose the avocado toast- we shared. We both thought they were excellent! The avocado toast was so flavorful- made with a flavor (rosemary bread) artisan bread. You will not be disappointed! Ohhhh the coffee- the reason we went there- was delicious!
