This one's a no brainer, everybody, it's definitely something that everyone should try at least once, but actually, if you like me, you're gonna try it again and again, and again and again, because it's delicious. We had the pleasure, my wife and my family had the pleasure of eating at house of curry in Rosemont. What a delight. Let me tell you waitstaff was at their attention. They were at our Beck and call, literally, we never had an empty drink. Starting from my first drink there, which was a giant Taj beer, one of the one of my favorite drinks that I had when I'm overseas in Asia. My wife got a delicious mango lassie, which was split with our son. Let me tell you we got no complaints about those lassies, delicious! Folks, I'm going to add my pictures because the food was not only tasty, it looked delicious. It's nice when you get that combo of food that just looks so pallaetable and appetizing, but on top of that, it's delicious, and just packed with wonderful flavors. For my entree, I got the Chicken Kutta. The spices in this dish were so succulent, so flavorful that and the aromas were so powerfully delicious that literally there wasn't much of my whole entree left when It was time to leave. My wife and I shared the chili shrimps. Oh, my goodness, what a savory spicy shrimp. But not only that, like with all the foods at House Of Curry, the spices hit you with a KAPOW! but relax, because guess what it doesn't overwhelm you, It's just a beautiful spice done in such a way that it's a really good heat that knows when to back down. One of the things, I and I'm showing a picture of this too, one of the things I highly recommend, I highly recommend and if you don't do this, you're gonna wish you did so just do it, get the Fried Cauliflower. Pro tip get two of them, It's so good. You'll eat it as a bedtime snack. So overall, in summary, go to this restaurant, go there often make it one of your favorite places to go, because I know that's what's happened with us, we think it's wonderful. Shout out to Hosia, our Hostess slash Waiter, amazing guy and guess what? This guy knows his food and he knows the culture. If you have questions, he can answer them. But what I got to tell you is Sri Lankan restaurants are in short supply. Well guess what? Not anymore these guys can take you. They can get you in, they can get you out. Go there and go there today!

We have worked with House of Curry for over six years, providing services at weddings and private parties where they handled the catering. Their food is consistently delicious, and their team offers friendly, professional service that always receives excellent feedback from guests.

Our own team has also enjoyed their food on many occasions, and we can confidently say it’s always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We highly recommend House of Curry for anyone looking for outstanding Sri Lankan cuisine and reliable catering services.

The best place for Sri Lankan food!

Kottu is among the finest specials, and a popular delicacy. Made from scratch by their in house chef, I have not had a better Kottu in Sri Lanka itself. ( I am Sri Lankan)
If you haven’t had Sri Lankan food 🇱🇰 definitely must try their Sunday Brunch Buffet! Happening every first Sunday of the month, they serve a variety of pure Sri Lankan joy spreaded for you to experience.
You won’t be disappointed. The milk rice, biryani, fried rice, noodles, kottu and hoppers (a bowl of crepe with a chewy center that’s unique to Sri Lanka) makes me mind-travel back home!

Whether you go for the buffet or order from the menu, you get the same respectful treatment from the team (family), uniquely tasteful dishes, big enough portions and utter satisfaction in the end.

Reasonably priced. Cosy atmosphere. Suitable for family dining. Booths available for families and Tables available for bigger groups. Last but not least, the best hospitality- true Sri Lankan style.

Must try! Thanks House of curry for the wonderful food. 😊💐

Absolutely loved my experience at House of Curry! The food was incredibly delicious and truly authentic — it brought back so many memories of my motherland, Sri Lanka. Every dish tasted like it was made with care and passion. You can really feel the love that Aruni and Disa, the wonderful owners, put into their cooking. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it feel just like home. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Sri Lankan flavors and heartfelt hospitality!

On Friday nights they are always under staffed.
I’ve been coming here for years and it’s only on Friday nights that the wait is a problem but it is every Friday. But as far as problems go I guess that’s a good problem to have as the food is EXCELLENT!!!!! And furthermore I will continue to eat here and happily wait if need be

7yrs later food is still fantastic and they ended up finding a gentleman to volunteer during dinner hours so service is average although friendly enough.Unremarkable experience with good food. Not for date night

Absolutely amazing Sri Lankan food. As a Sri Lankan myself, I can vouch for this place.

The warm hospitality of the owners, perfectly spiced food made with true Sri Lankan spirit, better than what you find in most if not all restaurants in Sri Lanka.

Try the Fried rice, Koththu, or even rice and curry. Honestly everything is top notch.

If you are around Rosemount and haven’t tried House of Curry yet, you’re the one missing out.

We traveled all the way from Omaha to taste the authentic food. We stayed in Minneapolis for 3 days and tried all the menu items. Excellent service and my family really enjoyed the food. Great restaurant.
