The people were very pleasant and the atmosphere was nice, and clean. The bao buns were great. But the boneless chicken wings were surprisingly disappointing. Shocking how little meat was in each one, and the breading was thick and almost like a dry, overcooked consistency. Not soggy, at least, but not a pleasant crunch by any means. Nowhere near as good as bb.q chicken (in Maplewood).

I ordered for pick up at 5:45pm yesterday. I showed up at 5:30pm and stated that to her. The hostess told me yeah you are after asking my name. I decided to sit at the table in front of her. By the way, they were not busy. I saw the kitchen staff bring a plastic bag to the hostess and she put in on the counter behind the checkout. She never said anything to me and this was at 5:35pm. I waited until a second bag came out of the kitchen and still no look or words spoken to me as I am watching this happen. At 5:45pm, I went up to the hostess and said is that one mine. She replied with, what is your name? I told her she said no, then looked again and the first bag was mine. This is not acceptable service. I also was traveling and there was no napkins, silverware/chopsticks for the bonchon. If your chicken wasn't so good I would consider not coming back.

Nice quiet location. We got the pork dumplings with the spicy sauce and it came out crispy and the spice had a good kick. We got the regular fries and they came out perfectly crispy. Next was the spicy bibimbap and the rice was cooked and crispy from the hot stone bowl. Good portion of protein and vegetables. Last was the boneless chicken with the spicy sauce and yangnyeom sauce. Both sauces were great. The spicy was actually spicy but not spicy enough for me. Staff was attentive and knew what they were doing. Overall, great experience and food. I would come back and highly recommend this location

We ordered take out : 3 katsu, 1 beef bulgogi and 1 chicken strip. when we arrived home on an empty stomach look what we got, 3 burnt katsu are not worth eating not just 1 but 3!! can you imagine that ?? thank you for ruining our dinner! really disappointing even it’s not worth the star, this is the last time, won’t coming back!!

The two servers (an older lady and young man) are incredibly kind! The food was phenomenal as well, and came out relatively quick. Happy hour prices are great, and dish prices were good in general as well. We love going back here because of the consistency 😊 Also, the new bulgogi items were delicioussss

Had a younger Chinese boy as our waiter. We asked if they served chicken wings without any sauce for my daughter and he said he doesn't think so. I then told him to please ask in the back. He came back and said they do. So I ordered all chicken wings like the menu stated for that specific order. We also order rice and our other orders came with reddish.
When our food came, he brought mix of wings and drummies and so I asked him that I wanted all wings. He said that they weren't able to do that and so I said then why do you guys have it on the menu and it would be nice to have been told that before making the decisions to go on with my order.
Anyways the rice and radishes never came after we got done eating I looked at the receipt and saw that rice and wings were charged. I told him I never got the rice and I'm not gonna pay for it. He didn't even apologize and even looked around to see if we did have rice.
He then said I don't know do they can take it off. I said I'm not paying anything for what I didn't get. So please go talk to your manager. He comes back and said ok they can take it off for you.

Wasn't able to order take out online because the website was down and couldn't get through on the phone when I tried to call. Fortunately I didn't have to wait long when I placed an order at the restaurant. Got the Japchae with a side of KimChi which tasted good but the Japchae could've had more veggies.

Before coming to the restaurant, I checked the website and a member of our party asked on a prior visit if menu items could be made gluten free. This person was told that all we would have to do is ask. One of the reasons this was the pick is because there would be options.
We were there to celebrate in a decent sized group. We were there with not a complete time crunch, but short enough on time that we couldn't pick another place to eat.
Guess how many things the staff said were gluten free? Guess how many things the staff said they could make gluten free?
There are two items on the menu that are GF. There are zero items on the menu that can be made GF. I don't know if the staff needs training, I don't know if it's a location by location decision or if it's a staff by staff decision.
I do know it sucks to do the leg work both on the website and with staff prior... And still have a choice of two things, edamame or Mexican Street corn. I'm leaving this review to hopefully save others the trouble. Food allergy? Pick somewhere else and don't believe anyone on staff if they tell you differently. That's all.
Update after BonChon response: not about to reach out to the restaurant. I did that, I was lied to. When I brought my business, this location didn't have food for me. That means that I take my business elsewhere in the future and I leave my review here for others to reference. If I'm going to advocate for myself, I need businesses that I can trust to be truthful about their policies. That is how this works.
