Davanni's Pizza & Hot Hoagies

Had the hot hoagie with chipotle turkey bacon. It was quite tasty, but oversauced. Luckily I like sauce, but it did get a bit messy. Food took a while to be prepared. Atmosphere was great - very cozy and good for conversing with tablemates.

Pizza was good, but dang ... The service needs improvement. I hate to be 'this guy' but here's what happened: I asked if they had beer. The chick working at the register (short, thick, chopped up blonde orange hair, holes in her ears, piercings in her face) said: "We have 4... " I said... "Ok... What are they?" And she said "Two IPAs and two other ones." She couldn't even rattle off simple names. And I said.."Ok an IPA can mean a number of things, are they hazy or west coast?" And she said.."I dunno they are IPAs from Bent Paddle." I said.. ok can I see your taps?" Because they didn't have a draft list to show me what was available to make it easy... Goodness at this point it almost wasn't worth getting beer, and for the record the two IPAs were DDH (double dry hopped). It was 5pm on a Tuesday and super dead so she could have kindly taken the time but seemed so annoyed having to do her job. For having only 4 beers on draft you should be pretty familiar with what they are or at least what their names are.

Extremely irritating that the order tracker doesn’t seem to get updated. My food is always cold, so clearly it sits there ready long before the estimated pickup time.

First the Google menu is inaccurate, the first 2 topping I asked for on my pizza were not ingredients they actually had. My biggest problem was after going over the order a couple time to make sure it was correct the pizza was wrong, all the topping were supposed to be on one side. The pizza was still good even if it wasn't what I wanted.

Ordered Gluten Free Veg Pizza, extra red sauce, light on cheese.
Tasted great. Jameson did nice job taking our order and confirming it at the counter.
Self seating and pick up food at counter when they announce your name.
Salad was very good also. One side salad nice size. One Entree garden salad, huge and good green veg mix. We will go back! We recommend. Perfect for casual family dining.

Staff was very kind and attentive, I had 3 different staff members come by and ask if I had been helped while I waited for my order to complete. They also offered to help carry my large order out to my car.Their pizza is always delicious, a family favorite.

I ordered a veggie pizza with sausage and they sent me a plain veggie pizza I'm not a vegetarian I asked for sausage they would not refund my money do not do business with these people

My father in law went there today and ordered a pepperoni personal pizza. The staff made him wait so long that he had to ask if his order was done, all the while they stood around talking about whatever. When he opened his box to check the contents it appeared the pizza was only cheese. He inquired again and the staff, seeming a little irritated, assured him that it was the correct item (which it was not).There’s a reason why I have never returned to this location in over 30 years. This is a severe lack of responsible service.
